"Review in English Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel. We arrived quite late, that is true, but the hotel advertised a 24-hour reception. When we arrived, there was no one at the reception. We had to walk around nearby bars to find someone from the hotel. When the receptionist finally appeared, he smelled of alcohol and cigarettes, and he came with a cigarette in his mouth, which made a very poor first impression. The room was in a very bad condition when it came to cleanliness. As soon as we entered, it was obvious that the sink countertop had not been properly cleaned — it was dusty and covered in streaks. The mirror was dirty and splashed, there was limescale on the shower tap, and the bed frame was also stained. Under the armchair, we found someone else’s electronic cigarette, which clearly showed that the room had not been properly cleaned after the previous guests. There was dust everywhere, and the overall impression was that cleanliness was not taken seriously at all. Another major issue was the noise. The room had a view of the railway tracks, which may sound interesting, but in reality it meant very loud nights. The hotel clearly knows about this problem, as earplugs were provided in the room. Unfortunately, even with the earplugs, I could not sleep properly and kept waking up throughout the night. The swimming pool was also very disappointing. The hotel advertises it as one of its facilities, but in reality it was more like a very shallow paddling pool, with water only around ankle-deep. The area was dirty, the water did not look inviting, and no one was using it. On top of that, the pool is not exclusive to hotel guests — it is shared with several nearby bars and buildings, so it does not feel private or comfortable at all. The only positive thing was that there was a shower available, because the bathtub in the room was so dirty that it was not suitable for use. Its condition was very unpleasant and raised serious hygiene concerns. Overall: very poor cleanliness, unprofessional service, extreme noise, a disappointing pool, and a very bad experience in general. I definitely do not recommend this hotel."

"I highly recommend this B&B! The rooftop bell tower observation deck offers an absolutely stunning view for sunsets and nightscapes, and there's a pool too. The B&B is fully equipped with all sorts of facilities, making daily life very convenient. Breakfast is well-balanced nutritionally, can be served until noon, and delivered to your room. Plus, there's a complimentary late-night snack every day. Upon check-in, guests receive an exclusive welcome gift, showing great attention to detail. The staff are all very enthusiastic, the rooms are clean and quiet, and the location is superb, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the ancient city. Being able to enjoy the beautiful bell tower views while having excellent amenities during your trip provides a fantastic experience. You absolutely must try it when you visit Xi'an!"

The hotel is right next to the Grand Tang Dynasty Everbright City, making it super convenient to visit the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda. Joy City is just across the street, so shopping is also very easy."

"Ever since I was little, I'd gaze at the People's Grand Hotel from afar, always feeling like it was a mysterious place I longed to explore. Now, that wish has come true! For a few hundred dollars, I got to stay in this upscale hotel. It boasts a garden-style courtyard, bursting with vibrant flowers and alive with the sounds of birds and cicadas. The breakfast spread is incredibly rich, offering both Chinese and Western options. Parking is super convenient, and they even have a thoughtful car wash station. The room itself is cozy yet grand, fully equipped with everything you need, and wonderfully quiet for sleeping. Inside the courtyard, there's an olive tree, originally brought back by Premier Zhou Enlai, now flourishing beautifully. There are so many great things here that words simply can't capture them all."

"Hotels like these are a scam. They look great from the outside but they are dated and falling apart with little or no maintenance. Maybe we were unlucky? On our first night, we dropped all our stuff in the room and went out for a stroll in the city. When we came back, we couldn’t open the door. Reception checked our key and sent us back, but we still could not open the door… we went back and told them to come with us … they could not open the door either… ok long story short : 30mn later after waiting in the corridor they gave us another room (an “upgrade”) but the standards of cleanliness was low: long black hairs everywhere in the bathroom and toilets, dirty carpets, faucets missing bits, spa bathtub not working etc. I just thought it would be pointless to complain again, however I would not recommend anyone to stay in this hotel. There better options with better locations. It was our first time in Xi’An, at least now, we know."

"The most satisfying hotel for this trip, the children are also very happy, the whole hotel is fresh and elegant, unlike the public hotel, there is a young lady to guide you to sit and check in when you enter the door, it is really too friendly for the mother with a big bag and a small bag and a child. The hotel is newly opened soon. But there is no smell at all, the room is clean and tidy, the window is green, the mood is particularly good, the sound insulation is quite good, even if you face the road, you can't hear the noise outside, the experience of a big and a small parent-child bed is really not too good, the children roll at will, Adults can sleep well and don’t worry about children falling on the ground. There is a small refrigerator in the room. Coke Sprite is prepared for free. The most surprising thing is the design of the corridor. Any shot is a blockbuster. The overall design shows the hotel’s intentions. You can refer to the pictures yourself. Recommended! Come back next time!"
