"The Marriott hotel I stayed in this time brought me a lot of surprises!
1. The design is based on modern simplicity, with soft warm gray walls and natural walnut finishes, which has both urban style and Chang'an charm. 2. The location is excellent, about 10 minutes walk from the nearest subway station, and it is very convenient to go to the Bell Tower and Shaanxi History Museum. 3. The surrounding area has both the atmosphere of the city - in the morning, you can go to the old brand in the alley to eat a bowl of Hulutou Pao Mo, and when night falls, the creative Shaanxi restaurant on the pedestrian street is also quite romantic. 4. The staff's service is meticulous and professional, from check-in to nightfall service is just right.
Whether it is a business trip or a cultural tour, this hotel with both quality and geographical advantages is worth including in the list!"

"Location: Next to SKP, opposite Zhongmao Plaza, very convenient transportation, close to subway and bus, close to Yongning Gate, surrounded by shopping malls, and basically all the well-known local restaurant chains.
Environment: Economic chain hotel, it is good to stay in a family room for two adults and one child. The child sleeps alone, so as not to affect each other's rest after a day of shopping. The bathroom is an integrated one, and the space is cramped.
Service: Very good, able to respond quickly. The front desk also prepared snacks in the afternoon, and gave a small gift when leaving the store."

"I must say that it beyonds expectation for Gran Melia hotel, particularly Manager Berry, she works with excellence service mind. The first time I go traveling in XiAn with my elder mom. It is quite complicated to take care her. But this hotel is the right answer, specially Miss Berry who understands our needs well. Full breakfast buffet with various food and wider room with balcony is perfect for us. I must recommend this hotel to my friends and suggest them to book premium room too."

"When we arrived at the hotel my friend was sick AF and was throwing up every 5minutes. Thankfully the room was huge (not like other hotels in china, and to be honest is big even for european standards) so i could enjoy some time in the room by watching drag race global (#teamnehellenia) on the sofa, by watching the view from the window and by taking long walks in the room all of this while he was vomiting in the bathroom. The location is great is just 20min by didi from the airport and 20min from xi'an north railway station by subway (just one stop). Next to the hotel there are a lot of restaurants and places to eat in general. The only downside was that the hotel only had 2 washing machines (very weird since ibis hotel in jiayuguan has several and it is way smaller) and they do greenwashing!!! (the trashcan should is separated for recycling waste and non recycling waste but if you look more closely you realize that inside there's only one bag for the trash. And please please please make sure to visti hua shan mountain it's beautifull up there e soprattutto è pieno di fregni rari con le tette e braccia enormi e bara! BEST HOTEL IN CHINA HANDS DOWN"

"I saw good reviews of the Renaissance Xi'an Hotel on Ctrip. It happened to be not far from where I was doing business, so I booked a night. The environment was very good. The pillow was uncomfortable when sleeping at night, so I called to ask for a pillow. The customer service delivered it quickly. The service was very good. I decided to stay for another night. The morning of the hotel was good. I will choose the Renaissance Hotel next time."

Xiao Huo at the front desk was very helpful in helping me with the room. He was also very attentive and proactive in helping me collect my luggage. The location is excellent, the transportation is convenient, and the hotel has complete facilities. , the room is clean and tidy, very welcoming, the stay is very comfortable, the breakfast is good, there are many varieties, I think it is very cost-effective, and there are some special snacks from Shaanxi. Every hotel staff is very welcoming, making people feel very comfortable, and the environment is great. The most important thing is cleanliness! Staying in this hotel at this price is really a great value! I am very satisfied with my stay and will continue to visit next time I travel."

"I came to Xi'an and stayed at Wall Inn Chang'an near the city wall again. It felt like home. The housekeeper was as enthusiastic as ever. The bed and pillows in the B&B were so so so comfortable. It is so important to have a good night's sleep. I really want to ask if I can buy the same ones. It was Valentine's Day and when I returned to the room at night, I saw the roses and Ferrero Rocher chocolates carefully prepared by the housekeeper. It was so sweet! All toiletries are Jo Loves by Jo Malone. The digital shower system has a lot of water and displays the bath water temperature in real time. You can adjust it to your favorite temperature every time without having to try hot and cold. The location is inside the north gate of the city wall and it is very convenient to take a taxi anywhere. Anyway, I will live here permanently when I come to Xi'an in the future!"

I was impressed by the efficient check-in process of the hotel. They allowed me to check in early, at about 10 am. And also greeted with warm tea, even offered welcoming fruits. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
(I already checked out but wanted to travel around the city a little bit and they even let me leave my luggage at the hotel for 4 days without getting any money from me which was super sweet 🥰)

GGuest UserI stayed in his hotel for two days and it was very good. The staff was very friendly and could solve any problems quickly. They also issued invoices quickly. The breakfast and supper were very good. The breakfast was rich and the supper was less. However, the location of the hotel was very good. If you are on a business trip, you can stay in this hotel because it is very convenient to take a taxi or take the subway. The Wi-Fi in the hotel is very good. I will stay here again next time I come on a business trip.

JJasjasjasjasI booked a 3 night stay and it was the best choice ever. Location was literally opposite a night market with awesome street food and shopping, and right in the heart of Xi’An. I would like to specially commend Lucy for accommodating to my request for window view despite the hotel being almost fully booked, for answering all my enquiries promptly and patiently, and also for making my trip in Xi’An so lovely. Feels so at home talking to her. Definitely will book Novotel again. Thumbs up to Lucy and team! Highly recommended 🥰

GGuest UserWe checked in at 2am. There were one person at the reception and another bellhop at his 60s. Other than then 60s bellhop was friendly greeting us, the receptionist has no chill or whatsoever to welcome us. We have 6 luggages and our rooms can’t be accessed by just a lift directly. This hotel failed to mention that all these rooms can only be accessed by different flight of stairs and elevator. This particular large room can only be accessed by 3 different flights of stairs at different location. There is this particular stairs we have to climb down to our room, has no lights, we have to use our own phone torch. At first we were told it’s their procedure to switch off the stairs light after 12am. After complaints, they decided to switch it on for the rest of our stays. Throughout we carried our luggages our self to the room as the bellhop is old, we were afraid we gave him too much stress. Room wise, the tv, living room, wardrobe arrangement has no common sense at all. 2 tvs each facing the bed. The living room has no tv, so if you wanna chill and watch tv with your family, go to your bed and watch. There is only one wardrobe at the living room blocked by the sofa. You have to squeeze in to hang your jacket. There is no coffee cups or spoon. I stir my coffee with their tooth brush provided in a Champaign glass. You might ask why a Champaign glass, because the room service just doesn’t wash your normal glasses after you use it. Worth mentioning, the coffee I drank in the morning, the glass is still there unwashed at night. The can of coke I left it there on the first day, was still there on the last day. Probably they think leaving it there for long will taste better. The room service is really bare min. I understand this is a garden balcony kind of hotel, like a chalet, but they should really buck up on their bellhop services and room cleaning services. It’s really tiring to walk and carry our luggages to our own room. Not to mention checking out is the same. The safety of the guest are not really taken care of given that they expect you to use your own torch to navigate down the stairs on the first day. Also, the everyday room service does not clean the bedsheets even if there are clothes tags or clothes linen on the bed. They simply pull the sheets, tuck in, as long as it looks nice, they doesn’t care about what’s on it and underneath the blanket. Just wanna say, The price we paid for this hotel is same as those nearby.

This hotel is dated but it exudes greatness and warmth.
All the hotel staff are very friendly, helpful , accomodative and radiates good attitude.
The rooms are well decorated, spacious well equipped and comfortable.
The breakfast was superb, the restaurants serve anthentic Contonese dishes and dim sum, while the fusion grill house serves great pirk chops.

Hotel is housed in a traditional and culturally significant building with history. 是一座多么华丽壮观的建筑。Hotel Staff is well versed in every aspect. Special Compliments to Mario & Hubery. They are so kind to attend to our needs and recommend good Muslim restaurants to us. They even help us book tickets to Terracotta Army Museum and Tang Paradise. Special thanks to Hubery who is well versed in English , took good care of us , offer suggestions and explanation for some Xi’An tourist attractions . Well definitely come back again.

RRafid MarsaThe hotel is very strategically located near Anyuanmen and many restaurants/convenience stores. While it’s a bit far from the nearest Metro station, there is a bus stop just in front of it, so you can also get to the Bell Tower quickly from there.
The facilities are unbelievably complete for what I paid. The room space is big, almost everything can be controlled digitally in the room, from opening the curtains to setting up music via bluetooth. There is also a small washing machine in the bathroom for underwear only, and a laundry room for everything else. The hotel also has a simple gym near the entrance should you need it.
Furthermore, although I didn’t try it, the hotel also provides free renting of Hanfu (there never seems to be anybody manning the station, but I suppose if you make an appointment they can provide it for you)
I also found the staff very friendly and helpful, one lady even gladly helped me with all my laundry overnight from washing to drying despite communication difficulties.
I can wholeheartedly recommend staying here, and would definitely come back should I have the chance to visit Xi’an again in the future!

The attention to detail was perfect! The hotel staff were all very friendly and their attitude was top-notch! The hotel breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes. Both Chinese and foreign guests can enjoy various delicacies here, and many authentic dishes are popular among both domestic and international guests. There is also a gym and free laundry service!
The transportation is extremely convenient! It's less than 500 meters from the ”Yongningmen” station of Line 2. Moreover, the hotel arranged a car to directly take us to the airport, which was so convenient! I'm extremely satisfied with this hotel! Both the hardware facilities and software services are first-class. The room was decorated with great style and all the equipment was in good working order. The hotel staff were all professional and friendly, making my stay here a wonderful experience. I give it a five-star rating without hesitation! It's a great place to stay and a very pleasant experience for me. The hotel atmosphere is very modern. Whether it's the rooms, staff service or the restaurant, it gives me a very fresh feeling. As a person who loves traveling frequently, I think I would give it a very high evaluation. I'm looking forward to my next stay and I will also recommend it to my friends!
Here, I would like to express my gratitude to Ms. Tian, also known as ”wan zi”, who has been in constant communication with me since before my arrival to inform me about the pick-up service. Since I don't have a mainland mobile phone number, I could only communicate with her via WeChat. She always responded promptly and helped me solve my problems. When I checked in at the hotel, she would also offer me tea and share the English version of the travel guide, which was a great help for my trip! She would also introduce various scenic spots to me, send me the locations of the spots, and guide me on how to purchase tickets. Thank you very much for all these! She would reserve sweet soup for me every night, which was very delicious! She would also help me order takeout to taste the local specialties in Xi'an!
