I stayed at Kaifu International Hotel at the Xinzheng airport for one night due to bad weather. The hotel is only 3 minutes drive away from the terminal and its shuttle pick-up service is almost immediate once you call their front desk (*************). It also has frequent drop-off service. The room is large and well maintained with all necessities. Clean as new. They even allowed me to reuse the room after l checked out but needed to use it for some time to deal with airline re schedule due to weather cancellations. After that they stored my luggage for two days. I want to mention that the shuttle driver, Mr Zhang, is very nice and helpful. He not only helped with my heavy luggage but also brought them to the terminal when I returned to the airport for my re-scheduled flight one day later. His smile warms me up during the snow storm that caused so much travel interruptions. Because I had an early flight, and I kept booking this hotel. Without WeChat, it was a bit annoying to arrange the airport shuttle from the terminal, but going back to it was of course much easier. If you want to head into downtown Zhengzhou, you can either take the slow metro service, or hop on the high-speed rail from the airport's main terminal (T2). I think it took less than 20 minutes.

Specially came to Zhengzhou to fly, chose to stay at this hotel overnight, so I don't want to choose an expensive chain but the conditions can't be too bad. I chose this one after seeing the introduction, which is really greater than expected. First of all, the sanitation facilities are quite satisfactory, the corridor is slightly dirty, the room is clean and tidy, the facilities are complete and easy to use, and the slippers are better than the economic chain haha. Very conveniently located two minutes drive from Zhengzhou Xinzheng airport, with a free shuttle service to the terminal. The front desk staff are very friendly, caring and polite, and they complete the registration formalities for foreign guests quickly and efficiently. The room was clean and quiet, and the hotel is nicely decorated and well looked after. A good option if you have an early or late flight from the airport, but also a good base if you want to visit Henan for a few days, as Xinzheng has excellent links to the rest of the province.

I saw this portable sleeping capsule on the same trip. It was too inconvenient to find a hotel two to three kilometers away from the airport because it was on a 7 am flight. This store opened at the end of 20 years, so it is relatively new. The convenient sleeping compar**ents are located on the east and west sides of the fourth floor of T2 of the airport. They are divided into two types: sofa bed and capsule room. I chose the capsule room. I just feel that the bed board is too hard, but stretching can be a bit more convenient than the sofa bed. The ceiling on the top can be adjusted with a remote control panel, as can the small fan in the bed. In short, the design is quite decent. If you go directly, it is 20 yuan/hour, which is not as cost-effective as the same journey. What kind of bicycle do you need for 84 yuan? It is very suitable for solo travelers who catch the morning shift.
