This time I went to Zao Juhyo to find a lot of hotels. I chose this hotel after reading the reviews on the website. I was quite disappointed after actually checking in. The scenery of the hotel is beautiful, the meals are delicious, the service staff are also friendly, the location is good, and shuttle service is also provided But it may be that the hotel is relatively old and there is a problem with the water pipes. After we took a bath, when we were about to drain the water in the bathtub, we found that the water was discharged on the floor of the bathroom, not directly into the water pipe, and the water was discharged instantly. There are a lot of dirty things, super disgusting, what's more terrible is that the drainage on the bathroom floor is blocked, the water overflows, our room is wet, the floor is made of carpet, which caused us a lot of trouble. We called at 10 o'clock in the evening and no one was at the counter, so we stayed until the next day to check out, which was very inconvenient

After arriving at the Zao Onsen bus station, if you don’t take the shuttle bus, walk for about 10-15 minutes with your luggage. It is very convenient to see the tree ice at the opposite side of the cable car Zao Sanroku Station. But if novices want to ski on the top platform, the distance is relatively long. The dinner in the hotel is rich and tastes ordinary, and the breakfast is generally not bad. There is a special space to send luggage, the service is good, and the hot spring is also very comfortable!

It was a convenient location near the ropeway. I was disappointed that there was no open-air bath, but I was glad that there was a free bathing ticket service for a nearby large open-air bath. There was also a drink service, so I got some wine. It was a delicious wine. The staff were kind and pleasant. The food was ok. All the hotels around me had only meat dishes, but this hotel was the only one where you could choose seafood dishes. However, some of the dishes were only seafood, and the rest were meat dishes.

As we were on a package tour and there were 3 people in a twin room, the room was very small. I put my luggage in the bathroom. Since my purpose was skiing, there weren't many hangers to hang my clothes on, and the closet was small, so I was glad I brought my own hangers. I stayed for 3 nights, and there were many days when the amenities were not available, so I contacted the front desk, and the response was smooth and there were no problems. The meal was delicious. In particular, I would like to thank Mr. Tanba, who is in charge of the restaurant, for making the meals enjoyable and delicious every day.

I stayed here from February 28th to March 2nd for the purpose of skiing. There was a standard twin room on the 4th floor or higher, but the 4th and 5th floors were renovated in December, so I was able to stay in a room that was converted into a residential suite that combined two rooms into one. The layout of the room was very nice and I was able to relax. Also, as always, the response and service from the front desk staff was good. The breakfast buffet was also revived and was delicious and satisfying. Zao Ropeway and Meihinkan Notoya are also nearby, so it's very convenient. After all, the public bath at Zao Onsen is the cleanest and best. The only disappointing thing was that the power supply for the PHEV car was out of order and I couldn't charge it.

It might be a room issue, but the "Western" room was the worst. It was less than a business hotel, so the carpet was very dirty, the smell in the room was strong (mold? Tobacco?), and the bed was so squeaky that I had trouble sleeping. Even though there is nothing that can be done about the age of the building, I would like them to at least fix the beds and bedding. The customer service was polite and nice, and the food, both dinner and breakfast, was delicious. The hot spring had a large public bath, but the open-air bath at the group hotel, which was within walking distance, was better. Isn't this a new building within the group? Even if the hotel is old, if the bedding in the room is new and the hotel is kept clean, I think it would be appreciated as a long-established hotel, so I would like to see improvements made. The cost performance was poor.
