Tea Cozy Hotel

Our stay at the Tea Cozy was amazing! As soon as we arrived the staff was there to help us check in and carry our luggage. They spoke amazing English which made it very easy to communicate. Our room was very clean and had a beautiful view of the mountains. The food was also amazing, with choices of Western or Chinese plates for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert. During our three day stay we became very familiar and friendly with the staff and all interactions felt personal. After staying in multiple luxury hotels earlier in our trip, the Tea Cozy felt more relaxing and calm, and will be our first choice when we return to China.

We had a great stay at the Tea Cozy Hotel. The rooms were spacious, nicely decorated and very clean. We had a very nice view from our room. We were able to rent bikes straight at the hotel and wander around the countryside which is one of the most beautiful countryside I have ever seen. The hotel is not far from Yangshuo but far enough so that you don't feel in a city. Really recommend staying there if you're in the area.

Nice hotel in a nice location. Swimming pool is great after a long motorbike adventure day.

We loved this hotel! The hotel grounds were beautiful and so peaceful. All of the hotel staff was so helpful and attentive. Communication was easy through We Chat and Google Translate. The location is great- walking distance to Tianfu Square, People’s Park and the subway station.

I booked a room with mountain view. What I got is this room on the second floor with view on the street and trees :( It didn't look like any of the rooms in the pictures shown on Trip.com. Not only was the view bad, it was often loud because of the Instagram café across the street. I also had zero privacy on the balcony as the hundreds of roadside tourists on their scooters frequently take pictures of the house and garden. Keep in mind that mass tourism has arrived in Yulong River area, so it is no longer quiet there. What I also didn't like is that the receptionist smoked under my balcony. It is true that the receptionists speak very good English. But then again, I was not even shown the rooftop terrace that they apparently have, nor was I told about breakfast options. They also have no WeChat contact, which is standard for other hotels. What really shocked is that they tried to charge me 30 RMB for one of their old bikes that I wanted to use in the afternoon for 2 hours. I couldn't believe my ears. As incredibly beautiful as the hotel is, and yes, my room was huge and I am thankful for the tip to visit beautiful Fuli bridge, I feel ripped off for paying so much for a room with no view. It is just not what I booked.
