May Flower Hotel (Yanji Yanbian University Floating Market Branch)

The room isn't huge, but it was more than enough for me sleeping alone, and shouldn't be an issue for two people either. The mattress was really comfortable. It was also quite clean, and the location is super convenient with a bus stop right downstairs.

First time staying here, and the location is super convenient! It's right south of People's Park, so getting to the Floating Market and the original Jeonju Bibimbap restaurant is a breeze. It's also not far from the famous 'Insta-wall.' Plus, the price was just right.

The hotel boasts an excellent location in the bustling city center, very close to Yanji University, with a plethora of local snacks and delicious food nearby. It's situated on the third floor of a building. The room itself isn't large, but the bathroom is clean and hygienic, with toilet seat covers provided. Toiletries are comprehensive, and complimentary bottled water is a nice touch. My only two minor complaints are that the room has no windows, and the soundproofing isn't great. Room 336's neighbors, whether it was a KTV or something else, started singing at 7 AM – a group of Korean elderly folks, and they kept going strong until past 9 AM! Quite an energetic start to the day, to say the least.

The room was very clean, especially the pillows – not a single stain, they looked great. The hotel owner was so nice. In the middle of the night, I found the windowless room a bit stuffy, so I went to ask the owner to switch rooms. He even taught me how to use coupons to upgrade to a better room type for less! The owner was very patient and enthusiastic. My stay was an excellent experience!

The room was clean and quiet, with adequate facilities. It's close to attractions, just a 10-minute walk to the popular 'Influencer Wall' and Yanbian University. People's Park is right across the street, and the Water Market is also nearby.
