Yeovil Court Hotel

This was our first stay at The Yeovil Court Hotel. Good off road parking. Friendly, helpful welcoming staff. Clean, comfortable room and bed. Tasty breakfast. We really couldn’t ask for more. We have stayed in other hotels in Yeovil but would book back at The Yeovil Court next time we visit.

Grim, dilapidated hotel with no restaurant or bar (both closed). Rooms were gross. Cockroach in the bathroom a particular low point. Bed linen stained and bobbly despite having clearly been cleaned. Breakfast disgusting with sausages served raw on the inside.

We booked 2 rooms for 5 nights in order to enjoy some long awaited family get togethers. Ian greeted us ,wonderfully welcoming ! Yes sadly,the chef had badly let them down,but from the quality of our breakfasts,you would never have known it! Good choice,piping hot and always delivered with a smile . Rooms were spotless ,and ours in the annexe were much larger than usual hotel rooms . All the staff are great ,but particular thanks to the lovely Mr and Mrs K , who seemed to be there 24 /7 doing a fantastic job under difficult circumstances. Nothing was too much trouble,so thank you very much !

I stayed here for one night (should have been 2) When I arrived I was told there was no bar or restaurant as there was a problem with the license and the chef had walked out. I paid for a deluxe room but was given double, the room had stains all down the bedside table, chest of drawers. The toilet roll holder fell off the wall everytime you used it. The bed smelt of vomit.I complained but as they were full there was nothing they could do. They did come and clean again. We were asked fir what time breakfast, we said 7.30, when we arrived the following morning we were presented with the wrong breakfast 20min later even though pre ordered . I got my order 40min after . Over all I wouldn’t stay here again, I think it needs some inves**ent (just extra security in the room doors would help). I appreciate it’s difficult to get staff and keep them now. The management were very polite with good customer service.

Stayed at the Yeovil Court Hotel over 2 nights for a wedding. On arriving we were greeted by Ian who made us so welcome. Our room was amazing it was spotless the bed was so comfortable. We had a evening meal which was delicious thanks Liam The wedding on Saturday was just perfect Ian and the staff went the extra mile. We would like to thank Ian Liam James and Alex for making everyone so welcome. We will never forget the lovely weekend, everyone had a great time. Thank you Ian for everything you did to make the wedding so special.

On arriving we were shown to our room in the annexe - very cold but room functional! Had a pleasant drink in the garden then had our evening meal. Very good meal and seemed well organised. Very quiet overnight then breakfast wasn't so good! From a pre-order form the night before, cold ingredients were already put on the table before we arrived. Hubby had a dirty spoon and the rather sullen waitress replaced it with two! My cereal was not on the table on arrival and on enquiring where it was, was told Rice Krispies had run out. I chose an alternative. Main course came and all ok but I hadn't ordered beans - luckily they were in a small pot so were removed. Had to ask for our toast then when it came, only my white slices were in the rack. Asking the same waitress for hubby's brown toast she said "Well do you want it now then?" With Covid, all arrangements seemed good re the breakfast but the large urns which supplied coffee (only warm) and hot water for tea, everybody used, so not Covid friendly!! Having had a nice, good meal in the friendly restaurant the night before was rather spoilt the next morning.
