"This was a nice guest room above a lively bar/restaurant. Ensuite bathroom, comfy bed, smart TV (need your own account if you want to watch Netflix, iPlayer, etc), and WiFi. Town centre and Yeovil Park are within walking distance (luckily the roadworks had pedestrian access). If you're exploring the wider Somerset, a car is required. No breakfast provided sadly (I went to Morrisons for cooked breakfast and Lidl for continental, both ~5 minutes away), but they have good lunch/evening food which they can take up to your room."

"Slight complications experience during check out as the owner insisted we had to pay £25 extra when it was stated in the booking that the room includes one king bed and one sofa bed. It was not mentioned up front and our trip was delayed. However, the rooms are well kept and Jo was very helpful with the situation."

"We celebrated our son’s 30th birthday at Lanes last night. There were 28 of us. The food was outstanding - the ones who had the roast beef saying it was the best they had. staff were very friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we had a good time. Thank you Lanes for a fantastic evening."

"Greeted by Danielle, who was friendly and efficient. Had an issue with the room air-conditioning on full , being very loud and not turning off . I spoke to another friendly staff member in the bar, who directed me back to Danielle. It was agreed that upon my return I could swap to a different room. I spoke to the young man on reception - i was told to bring my case down to the lobby and a new key would be issued - not on Danielle's watch , she knocked on the room door offered to help me move. Picked up my case and I was guided to my new abode. This young lady went above and beyond in every aspect. I felt seen, listened to and probably the best service ive had in any hotel. Well done , those extra thoughtful steps can make the world of difference to people. She should be put onto training all your staff. ( This is the 18th premier inn ive stayed in, in 12 months)"

"The hotel is close to shops, walking distance to bus station, comfy bed and pillows. Great and helpful staff. My only concern is the plastic cup inside the toilet underneath the edges of the lid part is so filthy and the towel has some stains."
