"I recently stayed at the Yeovil Podimore Travelodge, and I was thoroughly impressed by the experience. The hotel offers a budget-friendly, no-frills stay with everything you need for a short visit. The room was clean and comfortable, with a spacious bed and a modern en-suite bathroom. The staff were friendly and accommodating, ensuring a smooth check-in and making sure all our needs were met. The location is ideal for those traveling through or visiting nearby attractions like the Fleet Air Arm Museum or the charming town of Yeovil. There’s also a handy petrol station and a pub right next door for meals, which adds to the convenience. Despite its proximity to the A303, the hotel was quiet, allowing for a peaceful night's sleep. The only downside is that the Wi-Fi could be a bit slow at times, but that’s a minor issue compared to the overall value for money. If you're looking for an affordable, comfortable place to rest with easy access to the main roads, I highly recommend the Yeovil Podimore Travelodge!"

"The hotel is close to shops, walking distance to bus station, comfy bed and pillows. Great and helpful staff. My only concern is the plastic cup inside the toilet underneath the edges of the lid part is so filthy and the towel has some stains."

Premier Inn Yeovil Airfield ★★★

"It is difficult to go wrong with a Premier Inn but this one is above average. The lady on the front desk was very welcoming and helpful, and gave our children little Easter eggs. The room was very clean and comfortable. It was quite a small hotel but very quiet and everyone slept well. In the morning, the breakfast next door was really nice too. The food was freshly cooked and the staff extremely friendly and helpful, they all interacted with the children and gave them colouring to do which kept them entertained. We were very happy with our stay."

"Paid a recce visit to see my room allocation for the following day. Staff superb but my goodness the beetroot cured salmon starter at £9.50 was microscopic, miserly, barely a mouthful, served without a slice of bread or lemon wedge which I had to request. It would not have sufficed as an amuse bouche. Regret not photographing it."
