We checked into our room and after walking down a very poorly lit hall with dim sconces with exposed wiring and a strong lingering smell of cigarette smoke, we finally got to our room.
When I say "our" room, I mean the room that my family was meant to share with the multiple generations of spiders that had clearly been living in this room for months.
There were dozens of spiders in the bathtub, the sink, the ceiling, the floor, the walls. We removed a daddy longlegs from the ceiling over one of the beds and came away with the spider as well as a large spider web.
We did not spend more than half an hour in the room, the majority of that time was spent removing spiders and trying to calm our two young children. Ultimately, when we tried to wash as many of the spiders down the shower drain and the shower would not drain, we had no other choice but to reload the car and find another place to stay.
I would avoid this place at all costs.
