The Angsana Zhuhai Phoenix Bay is perfect for a family vacation. All the rooms I stayed in were sea-view and very spacious. It boasts a private beach (though not suitable for swimming) and a large, canal-style swimming pool, with a shallow area that's great for kids to splash around, wade, and dig in the sand. There's also a kids' club, but the facilities are a bit limited and dated. Occasionally, they offer parent-child craft activities. On the downside, the children's play area is quite small, and there are few dining options around the hotel. I'd recommend eating at the hotel or driving to the restaurants near the Zhuhai Grand Theater (Sun & Moon Bay), which is also quite close. Overall, the resort has a quiet and relaxed atmosphere, ideal for families to unwind and enjoy time with their kids.

First off, a big thank you to Flora for arranging everything! We stayed at Wanghailou and MGM before this, and while those were satisfactory, Angsana's service truly surprised us. They upgraded our original sea view room to a 'Premium Sea View,' which was fantastic. The elevator goes directly down to the pool, and the way the pool blends with the trees here creates a wonderful, Bali-like atmosphere. Plus, the sunshine in Zhuhai isn't as intense as in Sanya, making it feel very relaxing – a much more laid-back vibe than the scenic pool at Wanghailou. The only minor point was on the other side of the pool, it seemed like it needed a good clean, as there was a bit of plastic trash. Since it wasn't a holiday, they also kindly arranged an early check-in and an extra hour for check-out, which I genuinely appreciated. At MGM, despite many empty rooms, they insisted on a 3 PM check-in, so comparisons are inevitable. The room facilities aren't brand new, but for the price point, they're perfectly fine, especially considering the neighboring hotels are over 3K. The Thai restaurant, 'Miyan,' was delicious; every dish was excellent, even better than most Thai restaurants. Irene also helped us secure the only private room, making for a relaxed and enjoyable meal. My only suggestion: the price of the Coke was unnecessarily high. The food prices were reasonable, but the Coke felt really out of place. Also, I'd suggest considering packages that include the minibar. For a resort hotel, a small investment there could greatly enhance the guest experience. Overall, this was the best part of our trip, and we'll definitely be back!

A five-star experience all around! The hotel boasts a wonderful ambiance with stunning sea views. Our butler, Holly, provided excellent service, promptly responding to all our needs. Overall, it offered great value for money and made for a very comfortable vacation. The photographer from "Smile Play Travel Photography" was skilled and had a good eye, making for a fantastic stay. We had a great time and have already recommended it to friends. We'll definitely visit again if we get the chance.

During our stay, our hotel housekeeper Flora was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. She added me on WeChat before check-in and provided a detailed guide, along with helpful reminders about car charging and registration. The entire check-in process was seamless. Whenever we had questions or needed help after checking in, Flora was always there, patiently addressing everything. The photography session we booked through Xiao Wan also turned out fantastic. I'm really looking forward to staying here again!

Angsana Zhuhai Phoenix Bay is a hotel I'd happily visit a third time after my second stay. The pool water is incredibly clean, and the restaurant food is top-notch. The twin room perfectly accommodated our family of two adults and two children, and the garden room's direct access to the pool right outside was fantastic.

The hotel is huge, offering a distant view of the Sun and Moon Bay (Riyue Bay). The scenery is beautiful!

Our hotel butler, Holly, was amazing from check-in, introducing us to all the activities and facilities. The hotel also partners with 'Xiao Wan Travel Photography,' and our photographer was excellent at capturing the right mood. Even though the hotel was fully booked on the weekend, the staff still provided impeccable, thoughtful service. Highly recommend!

The hotel's location and environment are excellent, and the rooms are quite spacious. As soon as you enter, you can smell a comfortable essential oil fragrance. The housekeepers, Flora and Holly, provide very thoughtful service, taking all guest requests seriously and responding and handling them promptly! The beach is a bit small, but still enjoyable. I recommend the private onsen rooms on the first floor. There are plenty of places nearby for exercise and walks.

Firstly, I will not call this hotel Luxury. Surprised even it was opened in 2018 but felt much older. We stayed in the two bedroom suite with private pool. The room itself is nice, dark wood, marble bathrooms and well kept. But disappointed by the pool area, the pool is nice, amazing for the kids to play, good length BUT the walls are mouldy, the sunbed and furniture feels old. Missing garden greens to the space, no pool towels. Our room is a duplex with very steep stairs so you have difficulty with stairs or with young children, don't recommend this. We went in August, guess high season so the hotel is very busy. Especially check in and breakfast area but do appreciate food keeps being refilled. Room service took an hour. All house-keeping requests took over an hour. They even ran out of ice-buckets. The pool feels so commercial and tacky with the swim up pool bar but lack of service. The food comes out in aluminium foil. Overall the hotel has a smell of vomit. Our butler Ada was attentive, responsive and helpful. Thank you

This was my first stay at a Banyan Tree property, and I was impressed with both the soft and hard services. The ocean view room allowed me to sit on the balcony and watch the sunset. The room was grand and tidy, with many thoughtful details. It was very quiet at night. Both the buffet dinner and breakfast were extensive, and the seafood was very fresh. Even with good occupancy, the overall service at the hotel was excellent. The hotel has two beaches, east and west. The east beach is quieter and perfect for just relaxing. This hotel is ideal for a vacation.

The hotel environment is fantastic; you can see the sea, Sun & Moon Bay, and the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge right from the lobby. The park design at Phoenix Bay Yuecheng Hotel is also very well-planned and comfortable, making it fantastic for families traveling with children. It boasts private beaches and a swimming pool. Butler Flora recommended the newly upgraded kids' club, which includes a ball pit and picture books – our child absolutely loved it and had a blast. The partner 'Xiaowan Travel Photography' is also worth mentioning; the five complimentary digital negatives were a great bonus.
