I had a wonderful stay at Qing San She Art Inn — a charming and beautifully designed boutique inn tucked into the historic Dongxi Lane area of Guilin. Guests praised the team for being friendly, helpful, and fluent in multiple languages (English, Mandarin and Cantonese), always ready to assist with check-in, local tips, and special requests.  They even personalized experiences — like early check-in, seasonal room touches, thoughtful decorations, and sweet gestures — that made the stay feel warm and welcoming.  🍵 Extras & Guest-Focused Touches The common areas are lovely, with complimentary tea/coffee and spaces to relax, and the overall vibe encourages slow mornings and leisurely evenings after a day of sightseeing. 

The room was absolutely fantastic! I came during the off-season, and before arriving, I read a ton of reviews. Some people were complaining about it being dirty or messy, and even saying that Guilin ripped people off, which made me really nervous. But as soon as I saw the guesthouse entrance, I was like, 'Wow!' It was super great! Super cute! Super beautiful! The main entrance alone was picture-perfect. After checking in, the owner immediately started recommending things – all sorts of delicious food and fun activities. The hostess even told me the best routes to avoid detours and the best places to eat, and not a single recommendation disappointed me or led me astray. Oh, and the location is also superb! Just across the street is Chun Ji Restaurant, and a short walk further is Elephant Trunk Hill – super close and very convenient for me, even with elderly people. There are shared e-scooters everywhere, which is really handy. Places like Zheng Yang Road are just a taxi ride away, usually under 10 yuan. The interior environment is also excellent! Who said it was dirty?! It's amazing, seriously!

For this price point, this Hotel is amazing. Don’t go in there and expect luxury. What you get is a good night sleep and that’s it. Room was somewhat cold and AC remote didn’t work, but I didn’t bother asking for batteries. Shower pressure is on the weaker side. You get a big bed, but a tiny table. Shower Gel and Shampoo were present, but no soap, so I did do with Shower Gel. There were some traces of mold, but not really something that chased me out of the door. There were no strong odors and you get 2 free bottles of water. Wifi had a little of problems as the instructions and the actual PW are not up-to-date. So ask for the Wifi PW at the front desk. It’s in walking distance to the 2 Rivers and 4 Lakes Scenic Area as well as the Elephant Trunk Hill Scenic Area. And with the electric bikes nearly everywhere, you can reach Reed Flute Cave in 20 minutes. As I didn’t prepare enough, I didn’t manage to visit the the rice terraces, but they are the least impressive this time of year. So the regret is not to overwhelming.

We stayed one night and had a great experience. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, giving us helpful recommendations for food and tourist spots. The room was clean, with amenities, and had hot water. They even made coffee for us when we left early in the morning, which was such a nice touch. Highly recommended!

Beautiful resort in a beautiful location. The room was beautiful (although it can help having a little refurbishment, especially the bathroom). The staff is incredible, nice friendly and always trying to help and even if they don't speak English the communication was so easy with everyone. They gave us a room with a beautiful balcony with view and recommendations on restaurants in the area. Highly recommend it

The location is very good! Right at the location of the dragon claw banyan tree. Sanitation: Very clean! We also upgraded to a room with a view. In the morning, we can see the beautiful scenery when we open the window. It's great! Service: The boss is very good! We also gave them their specialty rice noodles and the fruit they picked, Wogan. I will definitely recommend it to my friends, especially sitting on the roof of his house to drink tea and enjoy the view. It is simply a paradise on earth.

Arrived yesterday on a beautiful sunny day, following the sunset to check into this hotel. The balcony view is absolutely stunning, and the room is incredibly spacious, complete with a bathtub. On the first floor, there's a free play area for kids, a lounge with sofas, and even arcade games 🐯 The service was excellent! As soon as I walked in, they proactively handled my check-in. The front desk staff were so polite and friendly. In the morning, there's a buffet breakfast, and the hotel offers electric scooter rentals. It's about a 17-minute ride to Yu Long River on the left and 17 minutes to West Street on the right, making it super convenient to get around. I tested the air conditioning, and both heating and cooling worked quickly. There's also an ionizer that can dehumidify. Beautiful views from the window, and rooftop camping is available. They even provided free clothes for me to take photos – sky mirror shots on a sunny day, or 'stepping on mountains and rivers' when it's cloudy, haha! All for just 60 per person. I'll definitely be back to this place! 👍

The hotel is in a great location, not far from the entrance to the Mingshi Tianyuan Scenic Area. Parking is convenient. Across from the room is a large rice field with beautiful scenery. The owner is very nice, and the chicken noodles for breakfast are delicious! I will stay here again next time.

When I came to Huangyao, the happiness was given by the inn. I was lucky to book the last room of this inn during the Spring Festival. The room went in to give me a quiet experience, I really want time to be still. I really like the floor-to-ceiling windows of the room, and the roof, simple. There is also a small balcony next to it, you can see the beautiful lake and fireworks. Next time I come, I have to live here. It is very close to the Solitaire, very convenient, and the inn has two doors before and after, which is very pleasant.

Inside the inn scenic area, there is a celebrity bridge check-in spot right outside the door, there is a parking space, the owner is warm and service-oriented, there is an observation deck, it is clean and hygienic, there is Kung Fu tea and fruit in the living room, and I am generally very satisfied. I will recommend it to my friends, and I will choose Longan Inn next time I come!
