The currency used in Montenegro is euro. Foods and taxi fares are pretty affordable .I have a lunch in the city centre restaurant , seafood spaghetti with a glass of beer only cost 7 euros.
The city’s name derives from the river, the Cetina (or Cetinja). The monastery at Cetinje became the seat of the prince-bishops, or vladike, theocratic rulers of Montenegro, from 1516 to 1851.
The most important attraction of Cetinje is The Monastery, the place of worship for many believers.
The town enriches with beautiful small mountain and built at the bottom of Mount Lovcen.During Christmas ,its decorations, the festive mood is worth to visit it. Here you can enjoy local mulled wine, traditional food and everyday performances with balkan music and entertainment during Christmas...also for kids!

Free.
Vlaška Church. Built in 1450. fence made out of barrels of captured enemy rifles. Free.

State Museum (King Nicholas' Square). 9AM-3PM. Former residence of Nikola Petrovic I, king of Montenegro. Looted during World War II. €5.
Biljarda Hall (Opposite the National Museum). 1832 residence of Peter II Petrovic. Now a museum dedicated to him. €3.
National Museum of Montenegro, Novice Cerovica. 9AM-5PM. History section and art section. €10.
Grave of Vladika Danilo (Vladika Danilo). If you are willing to take the 10-minute walk up the hill on the path that starts on the left of the Cetinje Monastery, you will not be sorry because you will be rewarded with beautiful views of Cetinje from above .
