Tokyo Disneyland Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
It's a small World after All.
How can you not love this ride? It is a classic and iconic attraction known for its charming and whimsical portrayal of global unity and cultural diversity. It's also a great way of cooling off during hot days.
A nice quiet attraction great for small kids and toddlers. You just sit on a boat and it will take you to different places with small moving dolls/animals. Avoid if you are scare of moving dolls.
I wish to go back in 2024

Tokyo Disneyland

Tokyo Disneyland, where dreams come true! This is the happiness place in the world. The area of the park is 115 acre theme park at the Tokyo Disney Resort in Urayasu, Chiba Peefecture, Japan, near Tokyo. The main gate is directly adjacent to both Maihama Station and Tokyo Disneyland Station.
There are 7 themed areas in the park. The park is busy all year round especially during school holidays and public holidays. The opening hours is from 9am to 9pm daily but good to check the website first as sometimes might have changes in the operating hours. Good to go minimum 1 full day.
Recommended to buy tickets online and download the Tokyo Disney Resort App to have a more efficient day! You can get Disney Premier Access, standby pass or book restaurants via the app. You also can view the waiting time for the rides too! Is so convenient. Have fun everyone!
I wish to go Los Angeles!

5 Essential Tips for Visiting Tokyo Disneyland
Tokyo Disneyland is a magical destination that offers an enchanting experience for visitors of all ages. To make the most of your trip, here are five essential tips to keep in mind:
1. Plan Ahead: Tokyo Disneyland can get crowded, especially during weekends and holidays. To avoid long queues, plan your visit on weekdays if possible. Additionally, make use of the FastPass system to reserve your spot for popular attractions in advance.
2. Get There Early: Arriving early is key to maximizing your time at Tokyo Disneyland. The park opens at 8:00 AM, but guests often start lining up well before that. By arriving early, you can beat the crowds and enjoy shorter wait times for popular rides.
3. Download the Tokyo Disneyland App: The official Tokyo Disneyland app is a valuable tool for navigating the park. It provides real-time information on wait times, show schedules, and even offers a map to help you find your way around. Make sure to download it before your visit.
4. Stay Hydrated and Energized: Exploring the park can be tiring, so it's important to stay hydrated and energized. Carry a refillable water bottle and take advantage of the water fountains throughout the park. Also, pack some snacks or enjoy the delicious food options available to keep your energy levels up.
5. Enjoy the Parades and Shows: Tokyo Disneyland is known for its spectacular parades and shows, such as "Dreaming Up!" and "Happiness is Here." Check the schedule in advance and plan your day around these captivating performances. Arrive early to secure a good viewing spot and immerse yourself in the magical entertainment. Don't miss the nighttime extravaganza, "Once Upon a Time," where Cinderella Castle comes to life with dazzling projections and fireworks. These shows are not to be missed and add an extra touch of enchantment to your visit.

Tokyo Disneysea
Tokyo DisneySea is a fantasy theme park in Tokyo Disney Resort that is unique to Japan. Inspired by the myths and legends of the sea, Tokyo DisneySea is made up of seven themed ports of call: Mediterranean Harbor, Mysterious Island, Mermaid Lagoon, Arabian Coast, Lost River Delta, Port Discovery and American Waterfront.
Tokyo DisneySea is Disney’s best theme park anywhere in the world. It’s rare for me to make an unqualified statement when calling something the best, but this park is so good that I’m confident in that statement without any sort of hedging my bets.
Everyone loves Disney. Japanese people also love Disney. In fact, they love it so much they have two Disney theme parks right next to each other; DisneySea and Disneyland. Both are just a half hour train ride from Tokyo
Getting there and around
From Maihama Station, take the Disney Resort Monorail to Tokyo Disney Sea Station (10 minutes, 260 yen). Alternatively, you can walk there in about 20 minutes.

Venice in DisneySea
Even though this is my third time in the park, it is my first time trying the gondolas that brings us around the palazzo canals and mediterranean harbour of DisneySea.
I am glad to have experience since I haven't been to Venice, and also I have always wanted to try but gave this up for the other rides.
The reason why I had time was I actually spent two days in Disneysea since I wanted to make sure I have enough time, and also didn't want another lockdown to happen and I regret not playing more.
Try this gondola ride if you want a trip round the Mediterranean harbour of Disneysea. The ride is actually paddled by real cast member.

Narita International Airport Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
🇯🇵 Narita airport paid facilities
There are paid lounges and paid shower for all the transit and departing passengers at Narita Airport terminal. This is very important for passengers especially when the flight time is long and need a place to rest properly. Most of the airport facilities here are available to all paying passengers so as long you are willing to pay then you can use it. I did not see business lounge here but there are also plenty of cafe and areas for use if you need to work. The wifi is free and efficient and streaming of movies is ok too.

🇯🇵 Keisei Line Train to Airport
An efficient train line from both Narita and Haneda airport which go into Tokyo. It will take slightly more than an hour using this Keisei Main line. It connects directly to another subway line without the need to get off the train too. This is also a cheaper alternative and efficient if your hotel is along this train line. IT is also better if you can plan your timing and sync with the hotel check in and check out timing. Sometimes when the train get too crowded, it will be difficult to board with your luggage. In this case, you can use the luggage forward system and send it to your hotel then you can explore the city before you check in.
#wheretogo #japan #tokyo #liveyourdreams #takethattrip
🇯🇵 Rest & Relax at Narita airport
Within the transit area in Narita airport, you can find plenty of space and resting areas. There is no need to spend money at a transit hotel. There are plenty of lounge chairs within the transit area for long layover. There are also water coolers and many vending machines too. If you are hungry, you also can get hot food from the eateries during their operational hours. You can even get a massage with the best views here along the airport runway. The views are better in the day compared to a night. During night time, the windows will have more reflections from the outside.
#wheretogo #japan #tokyo #liveyourdreams #takethattrip
🇯🇵 Zip Air to Tokyo
Konnichiwa Japan lovers and Sugoi! Now you can have Zip air to zip you into Tokyo Narita airport at berry affordable prices.
My round trip from Singapore to Tokyo Narita was about $400+ with 23kg and 32kg check in luggage included respectively. I also paid extra to choose my seats and pre-ordered a meal too. The seats are spacious, and you will not even feel squash ever again. Did I also mention the on-board wifi is free? Yes, it is free, and you can just follow the wifi instruction and get connected.
Being a Japanese airline, they can be quite strict on the hand carry luggage so please do not exceed 7kg because the staff might check on the weight. If you need extra hand carry weight, then you can pre-purchase it.
As for the check in luggage, Zip air goes by piece concept even if you are flying within Asia. This means that if you have 32kg check in luggage allowance, you can only check in 1 piece of luggage weighing 32kg maximum.

#Summer
This leisure and amusement park spans over a huge area of rolling hills located just about a 30-minute drive from the Chiba side of the Tokyo Aqua-Line Expressway. This attraction is set up like a loop course, with parking all along the way, giving you the option to drive or walk from spot to spot along the perimeter. Each checkpoint along the loop is a new chance to have fun, or a moment to stop and enjoy the expansive scenery in all directions, complete with seasonal flower fields and grassy knolls. With some of the landscaping and architecture reminiscent of the European countryside, the sights along with the souvenirs will make you feel like it really is a trip to a German village.

Country Farm Tokyo German Village opened in 2001 in Sodegaura City. The hilly terrain of Sodegaura City resembles that of the German countryside, and provided the inspiration for the park's theme. With this beautiful natural landscape as its foundation, the park ground's splendid scenes are designed to leave an impression on visitors.
You can enjoy the sunflower farm in summer. And any other activities in this place.

This year's cherry blossom viewing is set to be uniquely charming with the allure of Shibazakura (moss phlox)🫣🌸
Located in Chiba Prefecture, the German Village is a delightful amusement park filled with attractions such as a wide lawn, flower fields, and a zoo within the park😍🎡✨
The flower field, which can be considered the highlight of the park, boasts beautiful Shibazakura every year🩷🩷🩷
Shibazakura, unlike the cherry blossoms that bloom on trees, are strikingly vibrant in pink and incredibly cute🥳💞💞
One of the reasons why this place is recommended is because it is the earliest to reach its peak among the Shibazakura spots in the Kanto region☺️🫶
You can enjoy the Shibazakura a step ahead, giving a sense of exclusivity🎶
The breathtaking view of Shibazakura amidst the German-style buildings offers a unique blend of Japanese and Western experiences, making it absolutely fantastic🌸🇩🇪🍻
As the name suggests, the park is filled with German gourmet food and plenty of beer!! It's also great to grab these and enjoy the flower viewing🙆♀️🧡
We recommend a leisurely picnic while gazing at the expansive Shibazakura and rapeseed flowers spread across the vast grounds👫💓🍱
Laying out a leisure sheet, eating a packed lunch, playing badminton, it was a day full of fun🥳💖
It's highly recommended not only for dates but also for families with children and outings with friends🫶✨
Please do visit the German Village for Shibazakura flower viewing🥰

Wizkids In Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay
#fallishere
Kids will be happy to know that there's a huge indoor playground located on the inside of Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay. Parents alike, will be happy to know that they can take a break while kids can play, climb and run about in this huge indoor space. For a nominal fee, kids get to play non stop for 2 hours. The space is clean and big and well maintained. There's slides, ball pit, tunnels, a trampoline, climbing rock walls, a chalk wall to draw and even a reading corner. My kids had non stop fun here!
Breakfast At Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay Hotel
#fallishere
The buffet breakfast at Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay hotel has the most amazing spread. Do pampered and feast like there's no tomorrow as there's tons of food to choose from and the whole dining space for breakfast is huge. For the international selection, you can see eggs readily cooked on request and pancakes cooked at the live station with breads of all sorts. Cold cuts and cheese, cereals and fruits can also be seen. Then, there's a kids section where my children loved. They have nuggets and fries and a small yoghurt and ice cream section. You can eat your worths here.
Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay Hotel
#fallishere
The sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay hotel is a Disney affiliated hotel and it is such a fun hotel to stay in. We have booked a 2 doubles bed room and it was in like a 'jungle book' theme. The toilets had a separate from the wet shower area and dry area. It comes with a balcony that has an amazing sea view. The whole room is bright and roomy and just great for the kids. They were happily soaking in the room's bath tub. Shertaon grande tokyo bay even has a small kids TV Corner with cartoons playing and even an arcade within its compound. The whole place is modern and tastefully decorated, just love it!
