Speaking of going to Macau for food and shopping, in addition to the old-fashioned restaurants, I would like to recommend a new landmark that is both beautiful and tasteful - Londoners Food Park. It is located on the 1st floor of London, Macau, the environment is like an English garden feel, super suitable for taking pictures and checking in, I really want to take my phone out to take pictures wherever I go. Sichuan grilled fish Spicy but not choking, the fish is smooth and seasoned just right. A must for those who like heavy flavors. 2. Garden Baked Pork Chop Rice It looks super beautiful, with thick slices of pork chop, rice base and baked cheese, it's fragrant when you cut it open. Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, the portion is plentiful. 3. Hong Kong-style double sauce rice rolls The two sauces are paired with rich flavors. The cha-fan is steamed and smooth, and leaves a fragrant aroma on the cheeks. Both adults and children love it. 4. Singapore Laksa Noodles The soup is rich with coconut flavour, slightly spicy and sweet, the noodles are smoky and tough, and the seafood is plentiful. It's super satisfying to eat hot. 5. Selected brine platter The platter has duck tongue, beef tendon, egg, etc., all stewed well and not too salty, perfect for a snack. environment: The garden is mainly designed, and the decorations all around have a London atmosphere. Many people come here to take pictures. Comfortable seating, and clean and tidy environment, perfect for couples/girlfriends/family gatherings. Featured Highlights: The dim sum is made to order and served hot and fresh. It's so good that you can't wait to eat it! The atmosphere is comfortable and not noisy, and there are a variety of Asian dishes to choose from, whether you like Chinese or Asian fusion to find your favorite. 🇲🇴 Macau Review: Exploring the City on a "0 Baht" Flight! ✈️💸 Just a stopover... but I decided to head out for 9 hours! 😂 This trip wasn't actually planned for Macau. It was a transfer flight with Air Macau. I landed at Macau International Airport (MFM) with a layover of over 9 hours before my flight back to Bangkok. Summary: ✈️ Macau flight cost = 0 Baht Because it was included in the main ticket: KWE → MFM → BKK Flying from Guiyang to Bangkok. Usually, a direct flight takes 3 hours, but tickets were expensive and the schedule was bad. So, I chose a transfer in Macau. It was cheaper, let me travel more, even if it took more time. If you see a transfer flight like this, I’m telling you: don't just wait at the airport! 😆 If you have several hours to spare, Macau is very easy to explore. 🕘 Our Schedule: 09:00 KWE ✈️ MFM Flight time: approx. 1h 45m Arrived in Macau at 10:45 AM. Then, had about 9 hours of free time before the next leg. 20:25 MFM ✈️ BKK Arrived in Bangkok at 10:35 PM. 🇲🇴 What can you do in 9 hours? We chose to visit the newer side of the city first. Macau Airport is located in Taipa, and it only takes about 20 minutes to reach the heart of the Macau Peninsula. 📍 The Venetian Macao or Cotai area 📍 Food Street + Portuguese Bakeries Strolled around, had egg tarts, sampled roasted pork/jerky and other famous Macau snacks. 💰 The Actual Expenses: ✈️ Macau flight ticket — 0 Baht (Included as a transit point on the same ticket) 🏨 Hotel — 0 Baht (No overnight stay) 🚕 Transportation + 🍴 Food + 🛍️ Shopping → Only paid for these parts. The ambiance is elegant and spacious, and the restaurant's service is incredibly attentive. Almost every detail comes with a pleasant surprise. It's the perfect spot for a family outing or a get-together with friends to snap some great photos and relax. While the prices aren't exactly cheap, the food is totally worth it! The thick-cut foie gras is rich and buttery without being overly greasy. Pricing Main courses range from about $180 to $600, depending on your choices. Given the premium ingredients, the price-to-performance ratio is quite impressive. If a few friends share several signature dishes, you can expect to spend around $400-$800 per person for a truly satisfying and high-quality meal. Honest Review Hampton Court definitely delivers top-tier quality. I was completely satisfied with the food, service, and atmosphere. I highly recommend it whether you're celebrating a special occasion or just having a casual gathering. I especially loved their Buddha Jumps Over the Wall and Water Crab Congee—the ingredients are super fresh, the portions are generous, and the seafood has absolutely no fishy taste. Transportation around is also very convenient. Parking is easy if you drive. A taxi ride of just over 10 minutes takes you to popular spots like Sun and Moon Shell and Zhuhai Fisher Girl. It’s also close to Gongbei Port and Chimelong Resort, making it perfect for short trips between Zhuhai and Macau🚗. The room experience this time was outstanding💤. Continuing from my first Macau Peninsula guide, after you're done exploring the peninsula, you can head straight to Fisherman's Wharf. You'll be snapping photos non-stop—every shot looks like a blockbuster, just like Rome! Plus, it's not crowded at all! 📸 Photo spots ✅ Roman Amphitheatre: A 1:1 replica of the Roman Colosseum, this is the most iconic photo spot here! It's surrounded by shops, and I've heard it looks beautiful when lit up at night! ✅ Legend Square: Flanked by European-style buildings reminiscent of Italy and Amsterdam, it's perfect for a stroll and capturing photos with an exotic vibe. 🚌 Transportation 🚍 Free shuttle bus: Free shuttle buses run from the Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal, Border Gate, and other locations to Legend Palace Hotel (next to Fisherman's Wharf), departing about every 30 minutes. 🚎 Bus: Take bus 1A, 3, 10A, or 28B to the "Fisherman's Wharf" or "Friendship Avenue" stop. 📌Taipa Island There are three casinos situated right across from each other that are perfect for a combined visit. They're just a 10-minute walk from The Londoner or The Venetian. 🔵 Wynn Palace. Famous for the Performance Lake SkyCab, a cable car that glides guests over a massive lake with dancing fountains right to the hotel entrance. The attraction is completely free, and the queue moves quickly. The SkyCab has 2 entrances: one at ground level, and the second on the 4th floor of the hotel. The fountain show takes place every 15-20 minutes. 🔵 MGM Cotai. Here you'll find the "Macao 2049" theater, created by the renowned Chinese director Zhang Yimou, famous for orchestrating the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games opening ceremony. It's a spectacular performance at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and elements of traditional Chinese culture. Highly recommended! 🔵 City of Dreams Macau Its crown jewel is the famous show "The House of Dancing Water." This grandiose performance, created by Franco Dragone, takes place in a custom-built theater featuring a 14-million-liter pool. Spectators can expect mind-blowing acrobatic stunts, a captivating storyline, and unique special effects. The second highlight of the City of Dreams hotel is an unusual sculptural composition located in the casino-resort lobby. The author of the work is American artist Daniel Arsham. I’ve always heard about the incredible buffet breakfast at The Parisian Macao, and after finally trying it myself, it absolutely lived up to the hype! No need to rush your morning itinerary; just take your time, eat to your heart's content until noon, and then snap some gorgeous photos around The Parisian. It’s such a relaxing and satisfying experience. It’s about a ten-minute walk from Gongbei Port, not tiring even with luggage, and crossing over to Macau is super convenient. Right downstairs from the hotel is the Charming Mural Village, great for casual evening strolls and photo ops. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and a taxi to Lovers’ Road or Sun and Moon Bay costs about 20 RMB. If you’re heading to Chimelong, I recommend taking the light rail directly, as Zhuhai Station is nearby. Here are some practical tips for your stay. First, I suggest choosing a high-floor room because on lower floors you might hear traffic noise from the port at night. Second, breakfast is on the second floor; weekends can be busy, so it’s better to go a bit earlier. The rice rolls and fresh shrimp wontons are worth trying. Third, the executive lounge is on the top floor, with unbeatable sunset views in the evening. The happy hour offers a decent variety of drinks and snacks, so if you book an executive room, don’t miss out on this benefit. Fourth, the pool is on the sixth floor and is outdoor. Swimming a few laps in the evening during summer is very pleasant. Remember to bring your own swim cap as buying one on-site is a bit pricey. The room size is quite large compared to other hotels in Zhuhai at the same price point. The one I stayed in was about 40 square meters, with a well-designed wet and dry separation in the bathroom. The bathtub and shower area are separate, and after a bath, lying on the bed to enjoy the night view is very soothing. Here’s a key transportation tip: take the high-speed train to Zhuhai Station, then a taxi from the station to the hotel costs just the starting fare; if you’re heading to Macau, it’s best to cross through Qingmao in the morning to avoid crowds, and return via Gongbei in the evening to enjoy the lively night view. There’s a bus stop right at the hotel entrance with many routes to places like Hengqin and Jida. If you’re driving, the underground parking lot has plenty of spaces, and hotel guests park for free. I stayed in a river view room, and opening the window you can see the Qianshan River. When the weather is good, the sunset is stunning. The mattress is moderately firm, and you can choose between down or memory foam pillows, which is a nice touch. The bathroom has a good dry-wet separation, the shower pressure is strong, and the toiletries are from Portico with a light citrus scent. The minibar’s first round is free, stocked with local beer and soda, perfect for a relaxing drink after a day out.
