🌧🌿 Another night of drizzle continued until this morning when it stopped, leaving the air cool and fresh after the rain. 🍃🍃 🚶‍♂🌿 This is the perfect time to take a walk by the moat, so I went to the Yingcheng Jiandu Riverside Greenway on the west side of the moat, walking slowly along the scenic path. 🌉🌳 🏰🏛 This section is the west moat of Beijing's outer city, coinciding with the Second Ring Road, from Guang'anmen Bridge area to Caihuying Bridge area, with ancient relics and sites all along the way. 🏞🏞 📍🗽 To the north of Guang'anmen Bridge stands the Beijing City Construction Memorial Column, marking the core area of Beijing when it was first built as Jicheng three thousand years ago. 🌆🌆 🏛🏰 Between Guang'anmen Bridge and Baizhifang Bridge lies the site of the Jin Zhongdu Palace, with the Jin Zhongdu Memorial Que standing there, which was the core area of the Jin Zhongdu imperial palace over eight hundred years ago. 🕌🕌 🚦🏛 Next to Baizhifang Bridge is the site of the Jin Zhongdu Palace City's Yingtian Gate, and not far to the south is Jin Zhongdu Park, with the Jin Zhongdu Water Gate site further south. 🌉🌉 📜🏰 Over eight hundred years ago, Beijing became Jin Zhongdu, and although it only existed for over sixty years, this marked the beginning of Beijing's history as the capital of a country. 🏛🏛 🏞🏰 The core area of Beijing's city and capital construction has always been around this section of the west moat, which was not a place ordinary civilians could easily enter at that time. 🚶‍♂🚶‍♀ 🌳🌿 But now it's different, this area has become a riverside landscape belt and a free park where nearby residents like to come for leisure and fitness, no longer a forbidden area. 🎉🎉 🌧🌿 The air after the rain is filled with the fragrance of soil and vegetation, and under the tall bronze memorial que, a group of aunties have lined up neatly, dancing in the square. 💃🕺 👵👦 Many elderly people and children are walking and playing on the nearby garden paths, and people in a hurry to go to work also like to pass by the river or through the forest paths. 🚶‍♂🚶‍♀ 🌸🌳 With flowers, trees, rivers, bronze dragon sculptures, and memorial ques, such a landscape naturally attracts everyone, making people like to come close to this place intentionally or unintentionally. 🌳🌿 🌺🌾 Unlike the previous scene of blooming flowers, it has now switched to the scenery of summer, with spring flowers fading and summer flowers blooming, and the trees are even more lush and verdant. 🌳🌳 🌤🌿 Look at the summer flowers, look at the green trees, look at the memorial que, then look up at the rolling clouds, continue along the riverbank, admiring the morning scenery after the rain, and exploring the sites of Jin Zhongdu. 🌆🌆
