Cangxi Century Pear Orchard

Cangxi snow pear has a history of more than 1200 years, with a planting area of nearly 1 million mu nationwide, and has been a tribute pear for generations. Sichuan Cangxi Pear Expo Park covers an area of 3000 mu and is a 3A scenic spot. The core area is the century-old tree garden, which has dozens of old pear trees over 145 years old. The trees have a rugged and powerful main trunk, with delicate and beautiful branches and flowers, and the blossoms are large and pure white, very aesthetically pleasing. Taking photos with the trees creates a poetic atmosphere, making it a place worth visiting. The pear blossom season is quite short. We went on March 24th, and only the old tree garden's pear blossoms were in full bloom, while most of the other pear blossoms had withered. Each year, the best time to view the blossoms needs to be determined based on the climate. There are dining options within the orchard, and eating and drinking tea under the century-old pear trees offers a taste of luxurious living. The entrance fee to the scenic area is 20 yuan, and it is free for those aged 65 and above.
