Chengde, there are many temples here. Pule Temple is located in Chengde City, Hebei Province, and was built in the 31st year of Emperor Qianlong (AD 1766). The whole temple building is a combination of Han and Tibetan styles. The western part is composed of Shanmen, Tianwang Hall, Bell and Drum Tower, Hall and the main hall according to the style of the Han temple. The eastern part is a Tibetan city building. The main building, Xuguang Pavilion, is a dome that resembles the Temple of Heaven in Beijing. The top of the pavilion houses a circular algae well, a dragon and phoenix pattern, and a dragon and phoenix well center carved golden dragon play beads. The algae well adopts three layers of layers of shrinking and heavy weighting. The carvings are fine and golden, with high artistic value.
