Guest User: Amazing hotel, less people, not crowded beaches. If you’re searching for food there are plenty of restaurants which you can try different variations of food. The hotel is clean, rooms are big with a balcony where you can drink your coffee or tea. At the evening admirer sunset. What we didn’t like that they didn’t make a refill of coffee and tea, we should have asked the staff. But the rest was fine.

Spanish Mediterranean Coast Tour ~ Barcelona (Region) The Coll i Regàs House is a modernist building in Mataró, built in 1898 by the architect Josep Puig i Cadafalch. Its facade measures 11 m. Neo-Gothic style, including the chocolate bar, the main door, the ground floor grandstand and all the windows. It is completed by colorful graffiti and decorative tiles. It's a miracle. The decor of the house is stunning both from the outside and inside. There are many beautiful elements. I took a special photo of the cat and rabbit above the entrance for my wife. Inside there is a small exhibition of tools, fabrics, leathers used for decoration or restoration. It opens onto a large balcony which replaces the patio. This church captivates with its architecture: a fusion of Gothic foundations and intricate Baroque details. The frescoes are particularly impressive, conveying emotion and drama in the finest Baroque tradition. I also love that it houses an ancient pipe organ, considered one of the largest in Catalonia. The atmosphere inside the cathedral is incredibly somber yet peaceful.

It offers a steady programme of temporary exhibitions on local themes such as archaeology, art, history, ethnology, science and technology, and natural sciences. Spanish Mediterranean Coast Tour ~ Barcelona (Region) Built in 1851 by architect Elías Rogent, this building is a magnificent example of historicist architecture. Rogent is also known for his restoration work at the University of Barcelona and the Monastery of Ripoll, where he created a work inspired by medieval earthen structures of the western Mediterranean. The prison's architecture features an interesting combination of materials, with a masonry facade forming a semicircle inspired by Jeremy Bentham's panorama models, allowing all cells to be seen from the centre of the courtyard. Spanish Mediterranean Coast Tour ~ Barcelona (Region) Mataró is a prosperous industrial, commercial and tourist town on the Maresme coast, inheriting a long and rich historical heritage that dates back to the Roman Piazza Lluro, as evidenced by the archaeological site of the Llauder Tower, which contains ruins. However, many other significant events also left their mark in this town, such as the construction in 1848 of the first railway in the history of the Iberian Peninsula, which connected Barcelona to Mataró. The old city center is bounded by 16th-century walls. In the center we can see the 15th century Cathedral of Santa Maria, whose facade had its medieval and neo-Romanesque additions in the 19th century. Today, La Wrier and La Rambla are the city’s main commercial arteries. There we can see notable buildings such as the 17th century Town Hall, which includes architectural elements added later. At the intersection of these two streets, Plaza Santa Ana, we can visit the Baroque church of the same name. We can also visit other notable buildings such as the 18th century House of Caputxines and the Regional Museum of Maresme, housed in a Renaissance building. Modernism has left a special mark in Mataró, thanks to the legacy of architect Josep Puig i Cadafalch, who was born in this city. Most European attractions require advance booking, but buying tickets online is very convenient, which is great for someone like me who decides to visit on a whim while on a business trip. As for the Sagrada Familia, it's fine if you see it as a work of art by Gaudí, but as a church, it feels a bit ostentatious. In short, it's a landmark building, and you definitely shouldn't go in to see it, but if you've seen the Sagrada Familia in Cologne, Florence, and the Vatican, this one is just so-so.

Tina CullenThis was a great visit! Was very busy but we'll organised, I did not feel rushed and there was opportunity to buy keepsakes and even drinks on the patio! Depending on the type of ticket you buy is dependant on whether you get to access the top floor. I didn't but it looked great. The cube was a great experience to end the Gaudi tour.
_TI***nnA hidden gem in Barcelona's Gothic Quarter. This museum offers an exceptional exhibition from beginning to end and is truly a must-see. While Picasso's masterpieces are the main attraction, the temporary and featured exhibitions are equally impressive. The museum is beautifully curated, and the admission fee is very reasonable, making it one of the best cultural experiences I have ever had.

Suk Fun TseAn interesting visit of this former hospital complex (St Paul’s hospital) in Barcelona with beautiful architectural design! A nice balance between the history of development of medical technology in this former hospital and also the architectural elements of this master piece by Lluís Domènech (Antoni Gaudi’s teacher). The site offers audioguides for visitors and it also set clear signposts along the routes of visit. Overall a comfortable and visitor-friendly tourist spot! It’s around 20 mins walk from Sagrada Família so it’s good to pack both visits in one day. You can therefore also enjoy a fascinating view of the Sagrada Família from the hills here!
Anonymous userSince we were already there, we had to see the small-theater version of flamenco. Why did this highbrow art remind me of the Korean show WILDWILD? To be honest, when it comes to attracting tourists and creating stage effects, they still have a lot to learn from other Asian cultures. There's a lot of room for improvement. I don't know about the performance's professionalism, but the pacing was a bit slow, the costumes and makeup were subpar, and it lacked emotional depth.

Leah!Casa Vincennes Review (approx. 150 words) Casa Vincennes, Gaudí's first detached house and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is bursting with vibrant colors. The exterior, based on reddish-brown brick, is adorned with green and white marigold-patterned tiles, creating an exotic atmosphere. Inside, painted domes, floral and bird murals, and exquisite wood carvings complement each other, with natural materials used throughout. Sunlight filters through the windows, creating play of light and shadow that adds depth and dimension to the colorful hues. While it lacks the grandeur of the Sagrada Familia, it feels like a dreamy, colorful cottage hidden in a residential area. Every detail reveals Gaudí's early, whimsical, and romantic imagination, making a stroll through its interior incredibly therapeutic.
