Chifeng City Museum (Old Building)

The Chifeng City Museum (Old Building) covers an area of 3400 square meters, with an antique-style building, 48 meters high, with 3 main floors and 4 tower floors. It was completed in July 1987 on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and the Chifeng City Museum officially opened on July 1 of the same year. Most of the cultural relics in the Chifeng City Museum are the results of archaeological excavations, some are collected, and a small number are donated. The important collections of the Chifeng City Museum include the Red Mountain Culture Hook Cloud Jade Pendant, and the Qing Rongxian Princess Pearl Group Dragon Robe, etc. The Chifeng City Museum has been rated as an archaeological and cultural practice teaching and research practice base, a national first-class museum, and a national 4A-level tourist attraction.
