Such a beautiful implication! 🥀Yan Hua Pond was first built during the Tang Dynasty and flourished in the Song Dynasty, being a 1300-year-old official garden. It is also known as the 'Millennium Garden'! It is a landscape garden hidden in the bustling city, with a view at every step, featuring the landscape characteristics of Western Sichuan gardens as well as the style of gardens in the south of the Yangtze River. ❗❗Five must-see spots: ❶S-shaped Bridge: The most typical scene in 'Dream of the Red Chamber' ❷Golden Gardenia, commonly known as Bottle Orchid❀: Located to the left of Lu You's Temple, planted during the Ming Dynasty's Hongwu period, about 640 years ago, it is the only golden gardenia tree over 500 years old in Sichuan. ❸The corridor next to the golden gardenia: It is the corridor leading to Grandmother Jia's residence in 'Dream of the Red Chamber', and there are Tang Dynasty Qiong kiln porcelain shards underneath, which are of great appreciation value. ❹Half Pond Autumn Water and One Mountain Room: A very elegant name! A local friend from Chongzhou recommended 'Lao Yang Jia' spicy hot pot, but it was not open. It opens on the eighth day of the lunar month, so we ate at the 'Xiao Ji' spicy hot pot across the street, which was also good, especially the instant noodles! Turning the corner to the T-junction leading to Yan Hua Pond, 'Huai Tai Tofu' is also delicious!
