Two days of random thoughts in Dali

▶️ March 7th: Kunming→Dali→Xindi Coffee→Dali Ancient Town Early in the morning, I took a high-speed train from Kunming to Dali station, found the aunt in yellow clothes after crossing the overpass, and paid 5r to get on the direct bus to the ancient town!! After dropping off our luggage at the guesthouse, we went to eat nearby Liyu Private Kitchen Bai cuisine, which was just so-so, but the Thai milk tea nearby was really good! 🙉 In the afternoon, we took photos at Xindi Coffee, right in front of Erhai Lake, where there are many seagulls that don't fly much, probably because they are full, haha~ The afternoon sun was too dazzling, making it hard to take good pictures, and the photos taken at Xindi Coffee were all backlit and completely dark. It's best to come back around 5 or 6 o'clock! I must say, there are more beauties at Xindi Coffee than seagulls by Erhai Lake! In the evening, we went to eat at Fangzhou Fatty's Wild Mushroom Hotpot, which was the best meal of my trip in Yunnan!!! 😆 ▶️ March 8th: North Gate Market→Xizhou Ancient Town→Covered Bridge→Longkan Wharf Early in the morning, we went to North Gate Market and had some bait silk, which was very chewy, probably doubled my masseter muscle. 🤦🏻‍♀️ The extraordinary Youtiao was also good, and the freshly baked flower cakes next to it were too delicious! Very crispy, and they must be fresh out of the oven to taste good. 👍 I bought the longed-for straw bag, remember to buy a bunch of flowers for photos, it's very photogenic! Recognize Uncle Hu's straw bag shop, it's cheap! Other shops start at over 100 yuan 🚫 In the afternoon, go to the parking lot 🅿️ opposite March Street, where there are many minibuses with 'Xizhou' signs on them, 💰8r~10r, take one directly to Xizhou Ancient Town. But I think this town is very average, too many people, and not pretty, I looked for a long time and couldn't find a nice coffee shop, so I just took some photos and took a taxi to the covered bridge. Here I really don't recommend cycling around Erhai Lake, it's too sunny and windy and will be very embarrassing, taking a taxi is the best choice! And don't pay attention to any people or tricycles 🛺 on the roadside!! The covered bridge is very beautiful and photogenic, just very windy haha, gust after gust! My flower wreath was blown directly into the sea. After the covered bridge, continue to take a taxi to Longkan Wharf, just in time for the sunset, beautiful~ Longkan Wharf is really crowded but does not hinder taking photos, it's very comfortable and then walk to Yueyue Kitchen, if you go early, you can sit at the window seat with a view of Erhai Lake! That's basically the two days in Dali, there are quite a few scenic spots by Erhai Lake but they are quite similar, I don't recommend going to too many in one day, it will be very tiring. Like me, checking in three spots in the afternoon is enough, the scenery doesn't change much. Taxi is the first choice!! Taxis are very convenient and you won't have trouble finding one!!
