Dubai | Snapshots of modern architecture in the new CBD business district

🚗 Dubai is a modern international metropolis, the most populous city in the UAE, the wealthiest city in the Middle East, the economic and financial center of the Middle East, and the 'City of Trade' in the Middle East and North Africa region. Dubai is one of the global international financial centers, becoming a bridge between the capital markets of the East and West, and also an important hub for logistics, trade, transportation, tourism, and shopping. 🚗 Home to the world's first seven-star hotel (Burj Al Arab), the tallest skyscraper (Burj Khalifa), the largest shopping mall, and the biggest indoor ski resort, Dubai attracts the attention of the world with its vibrant real estate, events, conferences, and other activities that nearly set world records. The 2020 World Expo will be held here. 🚗 Personally, I'm not particularly interested in modern architecture, but some cities have really beautiful skylines. So, on this trip to Dubai, I chose to stay in the CBD for a day to see the Burj Khalifa and the surrounding business district. I must say, the variety of bizarre buildings is truly an eye-opener. The scenery is especially different when the evening lights are just starting to come on.
