First encounter with Dubrovnik

Dubrovnik is a famous tourist destination in Croatia, and the filming location of King's Landing in 'Game of Thrones'. Famous Irish playwright and Nobel laureate in Literature, George Bernard Shaw, once said during his visit to the city in 1929: 'If you want to see what heaven looks like, then go to Dubrovnik!' He also described it as the 'Pearl of the Adriatic'. Dubrovnik was listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1979. Due to the weather and time, after checking into Hotel Lero at 1:30 pm, I put down my luggage and hurriedly walked into the old city, strolling through the streets and lanes, peering at her charm through the doors and windows and narrow alleys. I didn't have time to climb the city wall, looking forward to the more exciting journey of climbing the city wall later.
