Fuji Shibazakura Festival

#2024wish This is a gorgeous festival in the mountains of the Japanese Alps. The sakura flowers are breath-taking and there are many food vendors as well as art vendors all around in which you can support local businesses. I would definitely recommend to check out the weather prior to going because it is a trek! My friends and I were able to see Mt. Fuji on the bus ride to the festival, but the remainder of the trip we could not due to overcast clouds. I think realistically, you can spend 2-3 hours here and see the majority, if not all, of the festival. They do offer a hot foot bath area, hot air balloons and other attractions, so depending on the weather, you may want to stay longer. In 2024, I want to visit this place again.
