Kim Lien Temple is one of the four most important temples in the Rising Dragon City, built during the Later Le Dynasty in the 16th and 17th centuries. The temple mainly worships the important Vietnamese folk belief Cao Son. Because Kim Lien Temple is located in the south of the Rising Dragon (Hanoi) city, the second gate has the words 'guarding the south'. The temple was last renovated in February 2009, in preparation for the 2010, the millennium of the founding of the Rising Dragon City, and a 'cultural preservation stele' was hung for commemoration. In the alley behind Kim Lien Temple is Kim Lien Temple. The lotus is a symbol of Vietnam, and there are countless temples named 'Kim Lien Temple'. This one, located next to Ba Mau Lake, was established in 1841 and belongs to the Mahayana Buddhism Pure Land Sect.
