The church was built by the French and it is the oldest Catholic church in Vietnam. The cathedral conducts mass several times during the day. For Sunday evening mass at 6:00PM large crowds spill out into the streets. It is a popular church in Hanoi City. Building is also nicely decorated. You can visit there and take some pictures. A little shopping can be done around. There are lots of things you can do at the old quarter area.
