#萬聖節2022 Collinson Hill is located in the southern district of Hong Kong Island, formerly known as "Wind Gate Hill". This peak is 348 meters above sea level, adjacent to Yunzhan Mountain, its southwest is Shibei Mountain, and its east is Portianzha Mountain. Collinson Hill is named after the British Royal Engineer, Thomas Bernard Collinson. Collinson served as a surveying project in Hong Kong from 1843 to 1845, during which 27 triangulation stations were erected on Hong Kong Island and the earliest systematic survey map of Hong Kong was drawn. In October 2015, teachers and students of the Department of Real Estate and Construction of the School of Architecture of the University of Hong Kong discovered an ancient boundary stone during a field trip to Xiwan Mountain. After verification, it was confirmed that the boundary stone was one of the 27 triangulation stations mentioned above, and it is believed to be the only existing measurement station of the same type in Hong Kong. Collinson has named many places in Hong Kong, and places such as Collinson Street, Cape Collinson and Cape Collinson Road on Hong Kong Island are also named after him. There are three main paths to climb Collinson Mountain.
