That’s a place to see for a day visit if you’re on Isle of Lewis for a few days. Mangersta sea stacks is definitely a place to be at for a bit. You need to drive to get there as there’s barely any public transport on the island. How to get there: take a ferry from Ullapool to Stornoway and then drive for just a bit over an hour to Mangersta Sea stacks on the west side of the island.

Carloway Broch
Carloway Broch is located above Loch an Duin on a rocky knoll in a good defensive position. It is 36 kilometers 36 minutes drive from Stornoway harbour or bus W2 with 6 minutes of walk. The Carloway Broch is one of the best preserved in the Hebrides that date back over 2000 years. It is approximately 9 metres high and 15 metres diameter. It is open 24 hours with no admission fee, visitors centre is only open in summer.
