Beautiful Jeju

Jeju island is known as the Hawaii of Korea. It's located a bit off the Korean mainland and has turquoise waters that surround the island. The island does have a relaxed laid-back feel and is a great extended weekend getaway. The island is known for its lovely beaches that are clean and plentiful. Keep in mind low and high tide as that sometimes means beaches form (or disappear). Jeju is truly a place for outdoor activities and nature. There are plenty of trails to hike and one of the most famous volcanic islands that you can hike. Finally the island is known for its seafood. This is especially true for its abalone. It's readily available and fresh! A trip to Jeju is a must of you're in Korea!
