Ancient city towers, archways, government offices, academies, Confucian temples, imperial examination halls, temples, Zen monasteries, private gardens, old alley residences, ancient wells, ancient bridges... everything you can and cannot think of is here. Jianshui's beauty also lies in its tranquility. Here, you won't find excessive noise, but rather the lives of the locals are more visible—whether they are vending for a living, strolling leisurely, chatting under the trees in front of their houses, or enjoying old wine and tofu while sitting together... Even after walking through the bustling commercial streets outside Chaoyang Gate, you will be immediately assimilated by the serene Little Gui Lake. Jianshui's beauty is also in its cuisine. Jianshui tofu, steam pot chicken, Jianshui barbecue, grass sprouts... A small shop—a tile-roofed house, reflects the Lin'an style even more. Mostly locals dine here, with cheap prices and a simple layout. The owner is kind, and the waitresses are all aunts and grandmas, but the service is very enthusiastic. A thirty-year-old shop, not for luxury or gimmicks, but earnestly and honestly waiting for that taste, that atmosphere, deserving of respect! Fried rice with pork head meat, grilled tri-line pork, grilled pork skin, small meat skewers, bursting tofu, cold mixed grass sprouts. Fried rice with mushrooms, Jianshui tofu with potatoes, iced papaya water, corn wine (not photographed), all for just 76 yuan, satisfying! A little complaint: Zhu Family Garden is well-known, but after seeing many gardens and private residences, although it's not bad, it didn't seem particularly outstanding. The garden scenery is okay. The most annoying thing is that they built a performance stage in the garden, which is a complete eyesore! From the layout, the 'back door' should actually be the main entrance of the private residence, and the currently open 'front door' should actually be a side door. Who has guests come in and go directly to the inner house?! (Shouldn't the cultural tourism department consider this?!)
