Fengze Yuan Botanical Garden fulfills all the fantasies of spring

🌸 Located in the fertile and beautiful Baiyi Dam, Fengze Yuan Botanical Garden is situated in the upstream water source area of Songhua Dam Reservoir, northeast of Kunming city area. It is about 40 kilometers from the center of Kunming, covering an area of 66 hectares. Its main business is the cultivation and protection of rare and precious flowers and trees, with more than ten specialized garden areas such as Davidia involucrata, Camellia, Peony, Magnolia, and four comprehensive garden areas: the Hundred Flowers Garden, Tree Garden, Fruit Tree Garden, and Aquatic Plant Garden. It serves as a base for the planting of rare plant seedlings in Yunnan, a water resource protection education base, a scientific research and popular science base, and a patriotism education base. 🌸 Known as the 'back garden' of Kunming, the early spring garden sees the successive blooming of peach blossoms in the water. The crabapple flowers in the water also bloom one after another, and one can stroll along the cherry blossom paths. Watching the light pink peach blossoms scatter among the crabapple flowers, the scenery is picturesque, filled with poetic and artistic charm. 🌸 The blooming of cherry blossoms, crabapples, daisies, and camellias creates a spring scene reminiscent of Monet's garden. Pink petals scatter across the water surface, with fish swimming among the green waves. Lao Shaodian Renjia Restaurant also sells tickets at a discount. ‼️Tips: 1️⃣ To find Monet's Garden directly, enter from the south gate and walk a few hundred meters forward to see the peach trees by the crabapple flower creek, and the entrance to the Pearl Spring is on the right at the end. 2️⃣ To save on tickets, there is a restaurant called 'Lao Shaodian Renjia' between the west and south gates that offers discounts on tickets when dining there, specializing in fish dishes. 3️⃣ The park is not very large, but it is exquisite. After the start of March, the blooming cherry blossoms, crabapple flowers, and sea kale flowers create a beautiful spring scene. After mid-July, the Lesser Heat, the sea kale flowers in the pond sway with the water flow, white flowers and green water, plus the enhancement of light and shadow, are picturesque.
