It's really good and funny! I want to watch it again~ It was a coincidence that I came to watch this comedy play, just in time for the Macau International Drama Festival, featuring Happy Twist's 'Happy Ghost Stories·Three Lives Plus', and the lead actors are Du Haitao & Allen. The main story is about the endless cycle of vengeance. A scholar named Xing Yu Tang, who made it to the Tang dynasty's imperial examination list, encounters the examiner Hu Daren who switches his son for a wild cat. Xing Yu Tang, with his petty mind, meets his demise, and Hu and Tang, both end up in hell debating. The King of Hell allows them to reincarnate while retaining their memories of their past lives, thus starting a series of hilarious journeys of endless vengeance. Du Haitao plays Xing Yu Tang, and Allen plays the King of Hell. This was my first time watching this comedy, and during the show, I felt there were many internet memes. But after watching it, I felt that the content was very realistic and related to life. Do we really need to keep on taking revenge? It's worth pondering. I must mention the lighting and stage effects were great! Especially the rap of 'Impermanence'! The content summarizes each life in the Three Lives, and it's all very concise.
