Quiet Town Of Maeklong

Most tourists head to Maeklong to catch the famous railway market with the active tracks and stalls open and closing whenever the train comes by. Spend some time to walk towards the town and away or parallel to the tracks to see the different eateries with shops selling commodities, local sweets and biscuits, family run eateries and businesses. Generally the main area at mae Klong railway market sells fresh produces like fish, chicken and vegetables. But for us tourists we would want something that we can bring home as souvenirs or ready made snacks that we can bite on. So head to the little town of mae Klong for something different and out of the norm. Also, for people who drives, there is a huge parking area located just 3mins walk away from the mae Klong rail market and only cost 30baht to park.
