A century-old castle hotel in China. A Princess's Roman Holiday | A century-old castle hotel in China I'm such a sucker for details!!! Built in 1910, the castle cost 300 million to construct. I love the solid feel of the stone, the furniture, carpets, portraits, and sculptures - every detail is a surprise. It's like living in a museum, wanting to explore every floor and every corner! Took too many photos, so I'll post them in two parts~ The first part will share the main guest room interiors, and the second part will cover the public outdoor garden area~ It seems there are only 13 guest rooms in the main castle, and only these 13 rooms are available for check-in at the castle, ensuring great privacy. Visitors touring the castle cannot enter the guest room area. There's a hotel golf cart service for the uphill journey, and the butler was very enthusiastic in helping carry luggage to the rooms. The beds are big and tall, really requiring a climb to get on. It was raining on the day I went, and it was very cold and damp on the mountain, but there was heating in both the castle and the rooms. It feels like winter would be a more suitable time to stay, as there might be a lot of mosquitoes in summer. I was deeply attracted by the royal-themed suite of the castle and set out specifically for it! There are also many surrounding holiday homes, which are relatively cheaper, but they feel similar to most five-star hotels and B&Bs. If it's a girl's trip, they would probably prefer the castle theme~ Remember to bring a swimsuit!!! There's nowhere to buy one on the mountain, and it's a pity not to experience the outdoor cliffside infinity pool with constant temperature.
