Colloseum, standing almost 2000 years

Construction began under Emperor Vespasian, completed in year 80AD, this structure has been standing for almost 2000 years. It could hold around 50000 to 80000 spectators at one time, and this place is used for gladiators contests. It is one of the most iconic Roman theaters, unlike others which is usually built at hillsides, this amphitheater is built on flat ground. east side of the Roman Forum. It was initially named as the Flavian Amphitheatre, as the works done during the period was also during the Flavian dynasty.
