About South Sea Guanyin: ✨Approved by the State Council in 1993 and completed in 1999, it is located on a coast of Yacheng in Sanya, known as South Sea Guanyin, and the mountain behind it is called Nanshan. 🌟It is the world's first golden jade Guanyin Bodhisattva statue and the treasure of Hainan Island. The Guanyin statue is 108 meters high, with three bodies, each holding a lotus, a bead, and a sutra box in their hands, stepping on a lotus throne with 108 petals. The Vajra platform under the lotus throne is the Yuan Tong Bao Dian, and the 280-meter-long Puji Bridge is connected to the mainland. ✳️The three Guanyins each hold a bead, a lotus, and a sutra box in their hands, each with different implications: ☞✨The front is the Guanyin holding the sutra box, embodying the prajna virtue of Guanyin, that is, the wisdom virtue. The sutra box represents the six hundred volumes of the Prajna Sutra, observing all sentient beings and freely converting them, and enlightening sentient beings with prajna. ✨The right side is the Guanyin holding the rosary, embodying the liberation virtue of Guanyin, that is, completely getting rid of ignorance and various fetters, reaching the state of great freedom and ease, expressing the compassionate spirit of 'sentient beings recite the Buddha, and the Buddha recites sentient beings' as equals. ✨The left side is the Guanyin holding the lotus, embodying the dharma body virtue of Guanyin. Guanyin is the main deity of the Lotus Department of Esoteric Buddhism. The lotus is the samaya form of Guanyin, symbolizing the 'eternal joy and purity' four virtues; it is the holy flower in Buddhism, symbolizing the sentient beings' meatball heart, the lotus body is pure, out of the mud but not stained, the root and stem are connected, symbolizing 'the heart, Buddha, sentient beings, three without difference'. It generally represents the purity and six roots of Guanyin.
