Bee Valley | One of the birthplaces of the Chinese honeybee

Located in the Wufu Mountains, a mere ten-minute drive from Chuankeng Village, lies one of the birthplaces of the Chinese honeybee: Bee Valley. This place boasts an excellent natural ecological environment, with distinct seasons and picturesque scenery. In spring, a myriad of flowers compete in beauty, covering the hills in splendid colors. From a high vantage point, one can see a springtime beauty composed of green bamboo, dense forests, blooming flowers, and lakes. Upon ascending Bee Valley, there is a 'Marriage Stone' (also known as the 'Three Lives Stone'), which is a sacred spot for lovebirds to check in. Remember to bring your significant other to make a mark, symbolizing the wish to be together for all eternity. In Bee Valley, there is also the Wufu Mountain Daixi Land Campsite, which is a great place to camp in the mountains with friends. As its name suggests, Bee Valley is home to many bees and beehives. Along the roadside, amidst the flowers, and in the woods, one can spot numerous beehives hidden away. If you observe carefully, you will notice these diligent little sprites constantly coming and going, busily collecting and making honey, contributing to the intoxicating sweetness bestowed upon these blessed mountains. Bee Valley also has a Bee Museum. Inside the museum, through detailed illustrations, multimedia, and product displays, visitors can learn about the life habits, biological characteristics, morphological features, and the honey harvesting process of Chinese honeybees. It's an excellent place for bee science education.
