Pasir Panjang Power Station 🧱

So happy I can finally visit the Pasir Panjang Power Station. This power house was Singapore’s second power station and decommissioned in 1997. The gorgeous red brick facade is reminiscent of the times when Singapore was under the British colonial as this building is built by the British Company George Wimpey and company. St James power station is quite popular and had been use by a lot of companies but not really this Pasir Panjang one. Imagine my delight when I can find an opportunity to visit it 😍. I always wanted to because it reminds me of music videos and large concerts. This kind of layout excites me i don’t know why. I’m also surprised by how big the place is. Their toilets are actually container toilets on the outside but it’s very clean! #localhistory
