Mountaintop Town

Ronda is a mountaintop city in Spain Malaga province that is set dramatically above a deep gorge. It is around 105 kilometers away from Malaga, you can visit here by bus, train or day tour from Malaga. Ronda is known to be the birthplace of bullfighting, Plaza de Toros de Ronda built in 1785, which can host 5000 spectators. Plaza del Socorro is a pretty little square surrounded by bars and restaurants. An ideal place to take a refreshing break with the view of the Nuestra Senora del Socorro Church at the end of the day. Alameda del Tajo, next to the bullring, a 19th century tree line boulevard with a vantage point at an impressive height. Calle Espinel is a one kilometer long pedestrianised street containing most of Ronda fashion shops, restaurants, cafes, souvenir shops and many more for you to explore. Ronda is close enough to Seville or Malaga for a day trip, as well as the stunning views.
