Wuzhen Nanzha: The uncommercialized ancient town

Wuzhen, a place full of historical charm and cultural atmosphere, has always been an important stop on my travel list. This time, I had the fortune to visit this place known as 'the last waterside households', to explore its antiquity and simplicity. 🌟 Wuzhen Nanzha, among the three major scenic areas of Wuzhen, is the most unadorned corner. Here, without the hustle and bustle of the East or West Zones, it quietly tells the story of the millennium-old town with its uncarved original appearance. Stone-paved roads, simple folk houses, as if time has been frozen at that moment of tranquil years. As soon as you step into Nanzha, it's like entering a world isolated from the rest. Pushing open the creaking old wooden doors, walking into the narrow and long alleys, you will meet old craftsmen repairing bamboo baskets under the sun, and the neighbor's grandma bringing out freshly made mei cai kou rou, with the rich scent of life hitting you in the face. It feels like just by turning around, you could brush shoulders with ancient scholars and literati. 📸 The scenery along the way is as picturesque as poetry, walking along the bluestone road, every step seems to be on the pulse of history. The mottled brick walls, the ancient stone bridges, the quietly flowing rivers, all tell you stories that have been dust-covered for ages. You can stop to admire, or follow my steps to delve deeper into the history and culture of Wuzhen. In this simple and ancient place, you can not only feel the weight of history but also the warmth and kindness of the residents. Their smiles, their lives, have become the most precious memories of my trip. The beauty of Wuzhen Nanzha needs to be felt and experienced personally.
