St Stephen's Cathedral

My wife, colleague, ex colleague and I went to Vienna Austria during a trip last year. One of the places we went was St Stephen's Cathedral. It is of the places that I will recommend to people when they wanna visit Vienna Austria. St Stephen's Cathedral has a very rich history. It's interior and exterior are spectacular. You can also go up one of its Tower to enjoy the panorama view of the city from up there.

Austria Vienna Shocking Tour St. Stephen's Cathedral St. Stephen's Cathedral is a symbol of Vienna and the most important Gothic building in Austria. The cathedral houses a large number of art treasures, some of which can only be visited with a guide. Inside the cathedral is the red marble tomb of King Friedrich, designed and built by Niclas Gerhaert van Leyden between 1467 and 1513. The north hall of the church features the pulpit and organ base designed by Anton Pilgram in 1513, both of which include self-portraits of the author. "The New City Altar in Vienna" is also worth seeing. It is a Gothic altar built in 1447 and became the tombstone of Prince Eugene of Savoy in 1754. The decorations on the columns inside and outside the altar once again show us the luxury and extravagance of the former imperial palace. Suggestion: Climb 343 steps to reach the small cabin at the top of the church, where you can enjoy the picturesque scenery of Vienna.
