Many people come to Wuhai for a brief day trip or two-day visit, choosing to rent a car 🚗 or drive themselves, crossing the desert and then reaching the destination on foot 🚶‍♀️. However, this method might not be very family-friendly for those traveling with children 🧑‍🧑‍🧒. If you want to 📸 take photos of the dead trees, it's actually recommended to go by boat. 📍Boat boarding location: Wuhai Lake No.1 Pier 🎫Fare: (Round trip) Speedboat 128/person, Sailboat or Yacht 98/person; children under 1.2 meters 🆓 free 👉Sailboats and yachts are a bit slower than speedboats 🚤, taking about half an hour to reach the opposite shore of the desert, but they are more stable.
