The Palais des Nations is a place that you can’t miss if you are in the city of Geneva. The are tour available around the United Nations office where you get to know some of the art work, and the history of the art pieces donated. The recommended sightseen time if you are not taking the tour is half an hour or maximum one hour. The Palais des Nations is now the United Nations Office in Geneva. There are many flags of various countries at the entrance. All the flags flying on flagpoles represent the international peace in the world. My suggestion is to choose the mountain you mainly want to go to (First/Jungfrau), the lake you want to play (Brienz/Thun), the small town you want to see (Grindelwald/Longjiang/Lauterbrunnen/Spiez), and then look at the tickets for Zurich and Geneva, and then make the route in and out of Switzerland. Day1️⃣: London✈️➡️Geneva Depart in the morning and fly to Geneva. It takes about 40 minutes to queue when entering the country. However, you can vaguely see the continuous snow-capped mountains in the distance at the airport, which makes me very excited! So, I took the bus directly to the United Nations Palace of Nations. 🇺🇳 Seeing the national flags of various countries at the entrance of the Palace of Nations, I really had some real feelings about the legendary United Nations. If you want to visit, you can make an appointment in advance. There are also the famous broken leg wooden chair and the international anti-landmine sign at the door, which is worth a look! Then, we took the train to Bern. Summer in Switzerland🇨🇭

Many people tend to travel to Switzerland during the winter. But for me, this time, we did not travel during the winter. But Switzerland is just too beautiful regardless winter or other seasons. On the first day, we visited places like broken chair, fountains and explored around in Geneva. The Broken chair was larger than I thought it would be and I really recommend you to visit and get a good picture there! There are lots of people looking for good spot to take picture, make sure you find one! Broken Chair 📍1202 Geneva, Switzerland We then travelled to different places like Grindelwald and Lucerne. The views were all very amazing and you get easily get the route online. Just to share two best restaurants that I had in Switzerland. One was at Lucerne, called Ristorante Da Ernesto. It is an Italian restaurant and the pasta was good. Do try out their tiramisu too 🙌 Another restaurant was at Grindelwald, called Barry’s. Do try out their cheese pot which is the best seller in their restaurant. The prices are above average but I think it definitely worth to trying! Jet D'Eau is probably the most famous and visited place in the city of Geneva. Getting there is pretty easy as it is located in downtown and all drivers know where is located or you can stay in nearby hotels. The whole visit, including walking around and taking pictures should last between 2 to 3 hours. Lake’s water is very beautiful, there are some colorfoul flowers around to decorate the lake. If you are lucky you will be able to see some swans around. If you walk around you might find the perfect angle to see the rainbow around the jet of water.
