In winter Switzerland really turns into a Winter wonderland waiting for you to explore and enjoy its beauty. I absolutely love Switzerland's incredible mountain terraces and being surrounded by the incredible Swiss alps. Switzerland｜Zurich Citywalk One Day Leisure Guide

Switzerland is one of the European countries I like more, but I prefer those Swiss towns far away from the city. As for Zurich, it is more suitable for transit and short stays. ⛄️🚞🚂 We traveled from Zermatt to Zurich, stayed for two nights, which were also the last two nights of this trip, so the itinerary was quite free & easy. 🚠🏔️🌇 【Lindenhof Mountain】 A very suitable place to see the panoramic view of Zurich, it is called a mountain, but it is more like a hill, you can overlook the cityscape and sunset of Zurich at dusk, it feels quite beautiful. This is also the filming location of 'Crash Landing on You'. 🏝️🗺️🦆 【Limmat River】 Seagulls chirping all over the sky. Someone was leaning on the Quaibrücke bridge to feed the seagulls, the scene was very healing. 💒🎠🏰 【Cathedral of Our Lady & Zurich Cathedral】 Two churches connected by the Münsterbrücke bridge, which are also landmark buildings in Zurich. 🏖️🌊❄️ 【Lake Zurich】 A place I personally like in Zurich, feeding the white swans, watching the sparkling lake, it's really comfortable. 🛍️🎁🎀 【Bahnhofstrasse】 A commercial street where various luxury brands gather, but compared to Orchard Road with two LVs on one street, it seems that there are fewer brand stores. 🍫🌰🍩 【Café & Conditorei 1842】This century-old dessert shop is located in the old town of Zurich, classic hot chocolate + cream, you can also pair it with a Flammkuchen. 🥩🍖🔥 【Simon’s Steakhouse】Dinner was chosen here. The steaks have options of 30, 60 and 90 days, and there are many types, and the quality is also very good. The staff will also patiently introduce each type of steak material.

#bucketlistreboot Grossmünster This is an iconic twin-towered Romanesque cathedral, where 1500s religious reformer Huldrych Zwingli preached. Huldrych Zwingli is known for leading the Swiss reformed movement in Switzerland. The cathedral is very imposing and can be seen from all sides of the river Limmat. It’s also very close to the old city centre. Niederdorfstrasse Niederdorfstrasse is the main street that runs through Zurich’s Niederdorf district. It lies on the east bank of the Limmat. It leads into the old city centre squares starting from the statue of the Swiss Soldier. It’s a good opportunity to buy souvenirs or that all important fridge magnet! #zurich #switzerland

Located on the banks of the Limmat River, the Zurich Cathedral, built around 1100, is a typical Roman architectural style, and its twin towers are considered a landmark in Zurich. The interior of the church is sacred and solemn, and the believers are constant. Even if you don't believe in religion, you can feel the peace of mind when you sit here for a while. The towers of the church can take you all the way up. Tickets are 5 Swiss francs, only cash. After climbing through the narrow and steep spiral staircase, you can overlook the panoramic view of Zurich and enjoy the view of the rolling snow-capped mountains.

The Zurich Cathedral is famous for its unique Romanesque twin towers, hence the name Twin Towers or Grosse Cathedral, which is the landmark of Zurich. The Zurich Cathedral was built in the Carolingian period around 1100 AD. According to legend, Charlemagne discovered the tombs of the Zurich martyrdoms Felix and Regula, where a monastery for choir singers was built. In the first half of the 16th century, the religious revolution in the German-speaking part of Switzerland began in the Zurich Cathedral. Today, the Cathedral has become part of the Theological Seminary of the University of Zurich. The sun shines through the arched windows at the top of the church, and the church is bright. The cylindrical chandelier that hangs down from the vault brings light to the bottom where the sun can't reach. Spend 2 and you can take a look at the clock tower. The entrance to the clock tower is very narrow, the door frame is only about 1.7 meters * 1 meter, and the head is taller and lower. On the top of the clock tower, the scenery on both sides of the Limmat and the beauty of Lake Zurich are unobstructed. The top of the clock tower is a regular square with a small terrace for two people standing in each direction. Don't want to miss every landscape, leaving unforgettable images in each of the four directions. The clock tower is nearly 100 meters high, and the line of sight can reach several kilometers. The north side of the church is the densely populated city of Zurich, and the south is the endless blue lake of Zurich. On the west is the bustling Bahnhofstrasse, and on the east there is the Yutli Mountain, the commanding height of Zurich.
