Manneken Pis Brussels
Though the statue is quite small, it is adorable and the history behind this is quite amazing. Believe it or not, Manneken Pis has been around since 1619. You can't really visit Brussels without stopping by. You can see many tourists around this place and you can be here any time of the day. My recommendation is to get this visited as a part of free walking tour. This would get etched in your memories.
People can’t see up close, but it’s totally fine to visit because you will see interesting places along the way. If you see this Manneken Pis statue, you can finally say “Yes, I’ve been to Brussels”.

CHOCOLATE lovers should be here in Brussels!
This is Pillows City Hotel located in the heart of Brussels. From train station is about 7 minutes walking distance. and of course you won't miss any single steps cause it is really-really near.
The staff is really helpful. Breakfast spread are variety and you can't miss any of it cause it's really nice.
What me like about this hotel is the location near to everything that me want such as Hard Rock Cafe, Grand Place, Mannekin Pis, Saint Michel Cathedral, Notre-Dame Du Sablon and etc.
Me like the restaurants nearby my hotel named Woodpecker Brussels. Me had the eggs Benedict with salmon. Best breakfast in Brussels me have and never doubt it. 👍 Besides that, me love Laurent Gerbaud chocolate shop. You guys should be here and try the best and fine chocolate in Belgium. Other shop that you should try are Leonidas, Corne Port Royal, Godiva, Bruyerre and etc.
If any one of you would like to go shopping, there is Royal Gallery of Saint Hubert next to Grote Markt. just walking distance from Hard Rock Brussels.
For those who likes the city, me really recomend to stay in Brussels at least 4-5 days. Just relax, enjoy the wine and chocolate to the max! have fun!!

The capital of Belgium - Brussels /Bruxelles is also the capital of the whole European Union. It is nice place with many things to explore. The famous Maneken Pis, the Grand Place and also the European Commission. Note that the Maneken is really small and hardly noticeable :) #belgium #brussels #europe #eu #happynewyear

Rock veteran Sting is performing, let's check in to Belgium together
Date: 2023.11.25 20:00
Venue: Vorst Nationaal/Forest National
Sting's tour is underway, and this time he's taking on Belgium solo, set to perform at Vorst Nationaal in Forest. Are you ready for an impromptu trip with this rock legend? Here are some must-visit spots in the Brussels area recommended for everyone!
1. Grand Place, Brussels
The Grand Place in Brussels, with buildings mostly constructed in the late 17th century, still perfectly preserves the appearance of that era. In 1998, the Grand Place was listed as a World Cultural Heritage site.
2. Manneken Pis
The Manneken Pis statue is a must-visit for tourists in Brussels. This adorable image of a child urinating is made of bronze, stands 60 centimeters tall, was built in 1619, and is located at the corner of Rue de l'Etuve and Rue du Chêne in the city center, always surrounded by tourists.
3. Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium
This is one of the more important art museums in Belgium, with a collection of over 20,000 pieces spread across its six museums. Four of these museums are located within the main building, while the other two, which are relatively smaller and dedicated to Belgian artists, are situated a few kilometers away from the city center.
Fans of this rock legend shouldn't miss out, it would be a pity to miss the live performance of the rock veteran, so on November 25th, let's experience it together~

European Getaway to Brussels, Belgium 🇧🇪
❤️Recommendation reason:
Belgium is one of the Schengen countries, not far from the UK, France, the Netherlands, and Germany, making it the perfect choice for international students' long weekends.
🚉Transportation guide:
Round trip on Eurostar, London St. Pancras - Brussels Midi.
BTW, London St. Pancras is the most charming train station in the world, without a doubt. Whether it's the Baroque-style ceiling, the 6-meter-high sculpture of lovers kissing, or the occasional piano music that stops passersby, all of them make your journey's starting/ending point full of happiness 💖.
🛏️[Hotel Guide]
The homestay I found on Airbnb was hosted by a lawyer who generously gave me their spacious room. I honestly couldn't find the address, but my friends, make good use of Airbnb, there are so many interesting hosts out there!
🍽️Food and beverage recommendations:
Brussels cuisine features white wine mussels (jokingly, Brussels is called Brussels because it's best for mussels [laughing]), waffles, nut chocolate, Belgian beer (Delirium cafe next to Grand Place is worth a try), and the super famous French fries. I walked tirelessly just to have a taste of the fries... If I had to recommend one, the curry tomato sauce with fries has a unique taste and is worth a try!

The attractions in Brussels are very concentrated. The city is relatively small, so it is enough to walk around in one day. You can also take the city bus and enjoy many beautiful houses, graffiti, and artistic small shops in the Brussels city area along the way.
