Stunning Santorini
Santorini, officially known as Thira, is a Greek island nestled in the heart of the Aegean Sea. It is famous for its dramatic views, stunning sunsets, whitewashed buildings with blue domes, and its volcanic beaches. The island's unique architecture and the azure expanse of the surrounding sea make it a favorite among travelers seeking both relaxation and romance.
What to Expect
Visitors to Santorini are greeted by cliff-side towns like Oia and Fira, where buildings layered on steep slopes overlook the sea. These towns are a maze of narrow, winding streets filled with shops, quaint cafes, and scenic viewpoints. The island is also renowned for its archaeological sites, such as ancient Thira and Akrotiri, an excellently preserved Minoan city buried by volcanic ash.
Experiences and Recommendations
Watching the sunset from Oia is a must; the way the sun dips below the horizon, illuminating the buildings in a golden hue, is truly magical. Exploring the black and red sand beaches—such as Kamari and Red Beach—is a unique experience due to the volcanic nature of the sand. For wine enthusiasts, visiting the local wineries to taste the Assyrtiko, a crisp white wine that thrives in the volcanic soil, is highly recommended.
Tips and Tricks
The peak season in Santorini runs from late June to early September. For fewer crowds and milder weather, consider visiting in the shoulder seasons of April-May or late September-October. Comfortable shoes are a must as the streets are often cobblestoned and steep. Be sure to reserve accommodations and restaurants well in advance, especially if planning to visit during the peak season.

The red beach in Santorini 🇬🇷
#thingstodo
Red beach is one of the beautiful beach on the island , especially the red colour is so attractive and it makes this place become unique. The reason why the beach is red is because the beach’s sand is composed of the black and red crush volcanic rocks. I really liked the view in here and when I crossed by, I saw a beautiful ocean wave and a special blue and white painting on the red rocks. They look gorgeous and beautiful. I will say this place is a must visit place in Santorini !!

Santorini trip
RMB1W is enough for you to enjoy the Greek mythology Santorini
I believe the Aegean Santorini in Greek mythology is a travel goal that everyone wants to go to.
Airfare and accommodation: My airfare is round trip from Ireland for €370
As for the hotel, I chose the oia area, I stayed at the elea resort, it takes about 15 minutes to walk from the hotel to oia village, it is located in a relatively remote area at the foot of the mountain, I am a person who can walk 😆 unless you rent a car or electric bike will be more convenient, stay for one night €208
The reason for choosing to stay in Ia is that the famous windmills, blue churches, beautiful scenery, and the most romantic sunsets are all in oia
As for Santorini's capital is called fira✌️
There are also many cheap resorts or b&b €20 to €80, there is no need to stay in such an expensive hotel (it is recommended to get up early to run in the mountains of oia😂 The second reason is that there are not so many people in the morning)
Transportation: I arrived at the Santorini airport at 8 o'clock in the morning and there was already a bus🚌 to pick up tourists to the city (fira), the journey is about 15-20 minutes, there is a bus every half an hour, the bus is €1.80
Black sand beach perissa. Red sand beach red beach and white sand beach, all have buses to reach the destination, the highest consumption is only €2.40
Transportation is actually quite convenient. Except for these two areas, transportation in other areas is relatively inconvenient, so when booking a hotel, you really have to choose well, don't be fooled by beautiful photos to go to remote places with inconvenient transportation😆 If you want to know more about the accurate time of the bus, you can refer to it.
Activity: Don't ask me or doubt who I am going with, I really am☝️ A person came to this place that is completely for couples & super romantic.
As for living in oia, I want to go to fira town, and finally I still take the bus from oia to fira €1.80 It's about a 20-minute drive
When I arrived in fira, it was actually quite good, although it was similar to oia🙊 It was a lot of castle feeling, and I accidentally went to the donkey station I wanted to go to the most! The donkey is also a symbol of the local culture and customs of the island. Riding a donkey down for €5, it takes you down more than a hundred steps to the bottom port⚓️Let tourists take a boat to see the scenery, and then the donkey round trip is €10, poor donkey🐎
In the end, I still advise that if there is nothing wrong, don't come to the Aegean Sea by a girl🙈 It's really a bit dangerous, it is recommended to come with friends or partners! If a girl really wants to go, just ignore the men who are picking up on the road, after all, Greece is a bankrupt country, it is still a bit dangerous👌 It is recommended to follow the day tour, a day's day tour charges €43 will introduce local culture, take you to the black sand beach, the highest peak of the island, let you taste the three most famous red wines and white wines of the island.
Food: In fact, the cost of food is not cheap or expensive, and that gyros wrap is also very good.

Santorinis red sand beach is located at the southwestern tip of the island. Santorini, formed by volcanic eruptions, has large red bare rock on this corner, which is fascinatingly red due to its rich iron minerals.
In the afternoon, continue driving to the last attraction of the trip: Red Beach. I actually saw the overall appearance when I was sailing on the boat yesterday, but I took a few pictures while climbing to the beach. Many foreigners are naked on the red sand beach. Although the red beaches are small, they don't seem to care about crowds and others' eyes.

Mio..
At six o'clock in the morning, there was a hint of rose on the horizon. We stayed in the house again, and the sun would rise from behind me. So looking for some gorgeous rhetoric to pile up a piece of magnificent sunrise also lost its meaning. It is difficult to arouse the desire to go to the sea for such a sand beach that has been seen against the scorching sun and over the steep cliffs. Just look at it. Red Beach, is there any misunderstanding of the Greek people on the beach?
