The Suzhou university (Exploring Suzhou)
The Suzhou university actually consists of 6 campuses covering an area of 135 hectares and with 940,000 square meters of building area and these campuses are spread all around Suzhou.
This campus which is The main and most beautiful campus is located at Shizi Street. and is not too for of a drive from the center of Suzhou Which makes it easier for students all over the city to access.
The campus grounds have been described as among China's most beautiful, in part based on the incorporation of "typical features of the classical gardens in Suzhou" and this can be attributed to the 100 plus years of history that this campus has.

Check out this university campus in Suzhou!
Here is the aerial view of this rather unique university campus. this campus is one of three campuses of the Suzhou university. This particular campus is the oldest campus and its rich with culture and beauty.
What makes this campus standout from most campuses in the world is the fact that, just walking around in the campus, weather to go for classes or to go to the library, you feel like you’re walking through a scenic garden.
This designs and architecture mix Chinese aesthetic with a bit of old European style to give something you have never seen before.
I would definitely recommend checking this place about if you can!

suzhou university coffee shop
The only snap worthy coffee shop in Suzhou university is located in the main campus just behind the campus supermarket . It was recently renovated to give a more modern and relaxing feeling to it . The chairs and table match are pretty comfortable and the interior design of the place is really beautiful. Lots of book shelves filled with enlightening books mostly in mandarin but also a few English books the coffee options are really vast too . I got an americano with a little bit of milk which cost me 20 chinese renminbi . (In my honest opinion, I think it’s a little bit pricey for university students ) anyways , I really loved the patio area of the coffee shop for mild to serious discussions , I saw a group of people holding meetings there . Most Chinese students go there to study , some go there to relax and other go there to discuss and chat . There’s also a fast WiFi available at the coffee shop in case you need to stream online videos etc . All things considered , I’d say this is a very good spot to study , chat , relax etc. #decembertravel #nyedestinations
The beautiful campus~ the former site of Soochow University
The predecessor of Suzhou University was Soochow University, which was founded in 1900. The former site of Soochow University~ an important historical site and representative building of modern times in Suzhou, is located to the east of the inner city river at Fengmen, facing the ancient city wall across the river. The campus is lush with trees, with greenery and red tiles complementing each other, creating a serene and refreshing environment.

A lot of the reason for the beauty of Su Da is due to her quietness. It is not as tourist-like as Xiamen University. Some of the old campuses rarely get people. When you go alone, you will think that you have entered the time and space tunnel and returned to the Republic of China.
This campus is not entirely old buildings.
But the wonderful new school buildings here are also very Zen-like.
The use of geometric figures, large round windows, long walkways, full of Zen.
If you don't say it, no one seems to realize that it is actually a higher education institution.
is clearly the scenery of Jiangnan gardens, but it has been integrated into the university.

The predecessor of Su Da was called Soochow University. It was founded in 1900 by the Christian Supervisory Board in Suzhou, China. It is the first Western-style university in the country. The old school gate has quite a literary atmosphere. Suzhou University has three campuses: Tianciezhuang Campus, Dushu Lake Campus and Yangcheng Lake Campus. We are here at the headquarters of the new school gate on Ganjiang East Road. As one of the most beautiful universities in China, Suzhou University is absolutely worthy of its name. The walled creeper has a wooden door that lasted a long time and a strong Republican style. The photos are really not enough to show the beauty of the campus. There is a gymnasium built between 1934 and 1937. The beautiful western-style red brick building, Jingzheng Building, was once a mathematics science college. It is mainly made in the British Gothic Revival style. It is two stories high and has beautiful stone carvings on the door.
