Taipei Zoo

The Taipei Zoo is next to Maokong Gondola, so we visited both in one afternoon and used our easy card to enter. The zoo is very large and we spent three hours there and still did not see everything. There are different zones (i.e. African area, Australian area, etc.) with many exotic animals, including koalas, giant pandas, hippopotamus, and zebras. #timetotravel #taiwan #taipei #zoo

With a total area of 165 hectares, if you intend to visit all of the enclosures, it would take you most of the day. Taipei Zoo trip

For all animals lovers, Taipei Zoo is a must visit if you happen to be in Taiwan. The zoo is easily accessible by their MRT. The entrance fee is very reasonable even for Foreigners unlike in Singapore. As the weather is relative cold, the animals are pretty active and you will not smell foul as usual in a typical zoo. My kids really enjoyed the trip and we had decided that every Taiwan trip, this zoo is a must visit! Enjoyed!!

Specialty of this zoo is it has educational facility for the young ones. In addition it also have displayed on how people extract water from underground. There is one area where domestic animals can roam around . Can see duckling and ducks wade around in a line. I called this trained ducks . The panda I believe is the main feature . I enjoyed the greenery and free carbon. Taiwan is very supportive of recycling hence can find recycling bins every where. Note that for boxed drink. I learned that you need to flatten it every time you want to dispose.

When in Taipei Zoo, where was known as the largest zoon in Asia. There was a great variety of animals. Adminission is surprisingly cheap which costs $60 NT for Adults, with this we couldn’t complain much. A great trip for family with children. #happynewyear

The Most bigger Zoo in Asia. Highly Recommended Taipei Zoo, admission tickets are super cheap. It's clean inside and doesn't smell anything. There are also 12 main themes in the park, including Koala bear, Many animals. .This is really great. There are plenty of rest areas and plenty of food options. 入门票超级便宜。 而且里面很干净，没有任何异味。 园里还有分12个主题区，连Koala bear 🐨 也有。很多动物。 园里没有动物表演，因为台湾政府避免动物被过度利用训练。这个真的很棒 休息区位置很多，食物选择也多。 亚洲占地面积最大的动物园之一 #taipei

#taipeitrip Love the wild day at Taipei Zoo as it was a roar of fun! 🦁 The entrance fee for the 60 TWD made it an affordable trip to animal land. 💰 It is a colossal zoo – from the cute pandas to the magnificent elephants, every enclosure has its own special treat. The Koala House and Penguin Hause were very cool. 🐨🐧 The Maokong Gondola across the street provides fantastic views of Taipei, and this is where you will find the beginning point at its station in the zoo. The Maokong area is ideal for visiting tea gardens and taking a panoramic ride. 🚡🍃 Night Safari at the zoo was a special experience – seeing nocturnal creatures in their habitats made it more engaging. 🌙 Several tourist attractions close to this hotel are the Feitsui Reservoir and Maokong Village, which can provide a full day of nature exploration. Love the Zoo in Taipei, Taiwan. its huge and a few area to explore. Different areas are theme differentl. you could go the the insect kingdom and have butterflies flying freely around you, the african zone where you see lion, tiger and elephants. Enclosures are huge and animals could roam around freely. Pandahouse is a must visit and the Pandas are well taken care of. If you wish for a tram ride please do board near at the tram station near the entrance if not you will need to walk quite a bit. Food tentage are set up along the way and bento boxes could be purchase if you feel hungry! Vending machine for drinks are located at most of the area and also they have water dispenser too for your bottles. Taipei Zip zap Zoo.. large area to host different animals birds, African, Asian, South American , australian animal families. lots of mammals and Penguin, Bears. organized the whole zoo park very well. Perfect day trip to club with Maokong Gandola Ride and Shuttle Train to walk around the zoo.. Best part is the zoo management and public facilities. Will definitely make someone's day

This amazingly large zoo is home to so many adorable animals! I was in love with the red pandas. It’s a fun outing for all ages, as the park is picturesque and easy to walk around. There are many food options inside too. The best part is that the entrance fee is only around $5 SGD or less! I love zoos and I always visit one whenever I have time. Taipei Zoo is one of the best I've ever visited. It's got a great collection of animals. I particularly loved the pandas and the koalas! The animals are well-kept in nice confinements. The signages are very informative and educational. They give you essential infos about animals. However, not all of them are translated into English. The zoo is also huge! Luckily they have a tram for NTD 5 per ride. The staff are helpful. I just wish that they could speak English better. #wintergetaway
