The United Nations Headquarters
#bucketlistreboot
The United Nations Headquarters - the U.N. building is not hard to find and is in a very central part of Manhattan on the East River side.
The building itself isn’t necessarily an impressive feat of architecture but the meaning behind each element tries to capture a world story. When visiting, make sure to book your tickets well in advance online. They go very fast and visits must be guided, no walk-ins. Be sure to come in early as there is airport style security.
The significance of each room amplifies the moment you walk in and realise that the world is a safer place because of battles fought at the conference table, instead of the battlefield.

If you want to pay a visit to the UN Headquarters, you'll find this rectangular building by the river. As well as the iron fence that surrounds it,you'll also see the flags of various countries flying high. This building is open to the public. You can buy UN stamps from the post office and mail them inside. You will also find restaurants and artwork from all over the world here.
Mengchu.
An absolutely fabulous day this was in #newyorkcity and a great time to visit the #untiednations to see all the flags. A lesser known fact, once you're inside UN grounds you're technically no longer in the Untied States. This was established under the terms of the UN Headquarters Treaty back in the 1950s. #travelinspiration

New World Trade Center vs United Nations Headquarters
The New World Trade Center, still towering over Long Island as an iconic building, is like a long sword pointing straight to the sky.
The United Nations building, among the many buildings on Long Island, is also unique, square and without edges, like a huge rectangular box standing between heaven and earth.
Do you think these two buildings are comparable? How would you compare them?

The United Nations is headquartered in Midtown Manhattan, New York City, United States, and the complex has served as the official headquarters of the United Nations since its completion in 1951.
We visited this pace during our trip to the West Coast of the United States when we were in New York.

We even bought a United Nations magnet from their shop as we enjoyed our visit 😀

On the eastern side of Manhattan, although located in New York City, its land is actually an international territory. The United Nations consists of the General Assembly Building, the Secretariat Building and the Hamma House Library. There is a tourist visit hall in the
United Nations building. The entrance inspection requires security check, and the procedure is similar to airport security check. In addition to the Chinese audio guide, there is also a Chinese manual tour guide service (Monday to Friday), which is about one hour long. Take you to the parliament hall, if there is a meeting there, you can't go in. And to explain the functions of the United Nations, in fact, the main theme is love and peace. It is especially recommended to send postcards at the United Nations, where you can customize the stamps of your own photos, and the United Nations stamps can only be sent from there, if you get the mail box outside you can not send it. In addition, you can also cover the United Nations chapter in your passport, which makes a lot of sense!
