Check out the Wuhan Art Museum in Hankou 🖼🎨
If you’re in Wuhan in the Hankou area check out the Wuhan Art Museum
It’s a nice way to cool down or warm up after walking around the area.
Admission is free but you need to bring identification. As a non native I didn’t have my passport but had a copy on my phone to present at entry.
The museum had exhibits, calligraphy and more. I spent about an hour going through the different exhibitions.
#wuhan #wuhantravel #WuhanArtMuseum

From December 22, 2023 to February 22, 2024, the 'From Bada Shanren to Qi Baishi Calligraphy and Painting Special Exhibition' will be on display at the Wuhan Art Museum (Hankou Museum)📍.
Two major highlights - the authentic works of Bada Shanren and Qi Baishi, can be enjoyed up close㊗️More importantly, the more than 30 collections on display are all cultural relics of the Wuhan Museum, including 3 national first-class cultural relics💯
There is a particularly intimate curatorial detail: each work is accompanied by a very detailed interpretation🈵annotation, explanation, which is very friendly to novices.
In the 6th exhibition hall, there is a 'Tour·Elegant Collection' aesthetic education space specially created for this exhibition, like an ancient study room replicated for you, 🔍good for taking pictures and strolling.
The desk has pens, ink, paper and inkstones for practicing calligraphy, 🖌Qi Baishi's shrimp is transformed into a projection animation, swimming on the wall, amazed by Chinese aesthetics.

Spend a day in my hometown | To my brothers and sisters who are coming to Wuhan for a tour
Golden September and Silver October, the National Day is coming soon, it's the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day again. For those who are coming to Wuhan for a tour in September and October, I will persuade as many as I can! Make a good travel strategy before you go!
Wuhan is very big, the attractions are scattered in Hankou, Wuchang, Hanyang three districts, try to take the subway🚇, it's very convenient and not stuck in traffic!
1⃣Hubei Provincial Museum
Be sure to make an appointment in advance! Be sure to make an appointment in advance! Be sure to make an appointment in advance! Don't run in vain on Monday when it's closed!
There are a lot of people every day! There are even more people on holidays!
The Hubei Provincial Museum and the Wuhan Museum are two different places, don't get them wrong!
2⃣Yellow Crane Tower
It's okay to take a few photos outside, it's not recommended to buy tickets to climb the tower
"Night on the Yellow Crane Tower" light show 150r, cost-effective is general
The internet celebrity wall Yellow Crane Tower, at the C exit of the Yellow Crane Tower station on subway line 5, has been occupied by photographers, there are a lot of people!!!
3⃣Hubu Alley
It's very close to the Yellow Crane Tower, you can take a look at Simenkou when you pass by
There is such a food street all over the country, those who know know!
Highlight! 👉Don't eat here!!!
Go to Liangdao Street not far away, there are a lot of delicious food!
4⃣East Lake
Remember to wear comfortable flat shoes! East Lake is very big, the greenway is very long, usually cycling, if there are too many people, you may not be able to sweep a bike, be prepared to walk for one or two hours!
5⃣Chuhe Han Street
It's just a regular commercial street, you can take a look when you pass by, there's no need to go there on purpose
6⃣Jianghan Road
There are a lot of people!!! Be careful of those who distribute flyers or scan codes on the street!!!
It's the kind of commercial pedestrian street that every city has
There are basically snacks on the side of the water tower street, there are too many delicious food, it depends on personal taste, foodies can rush!
Jiqing Street is also nearby, some old snack shops are not bad!
Lihuangpi Road, Wuhan Art Museum, Dongting Street, Qingdao Road, Station Road, you can stroll around, quite characteristic!
7⃣Qingchuan Pavilion
It's in Hanyang District, the scenic area is not big, there's nothing to play
Hanyang Factory Industrial Park is not far away, more literary style
8⃣Tan Hualin
There are many small literary shops, it's okay to take photos and check in, the night view is good, but there are a lot of people at night!
9⃣Gude Temple
There may be a limit on holidays, remember to make an appointment in advance, pay attention to dress, don't be too exposed!
🔟Xian'an Fang
The recent hot "Hello, Big Artist" Hubei premiere in Wuhan, the exhibition period is two months, 8.30-10.31, no tickets, but it's too hot recently, all are for taking photos and checking in! Actually, there are just a few big dolls haha! That's it

Wuhan, I'll come again
It's fun and delicious.
Don't come to Wuhan in February|||I deliberately left two days for sightseeing on a business trip, and it rained for two days, freezing cold, I hate rainy days the most. I walked in the rainstorm for two days, but the itinerary was well arranged, a full two days. The regret is that I didn't have time to see the night view of the Yellow Crane Tower, it's always good to leave some regrets.
Day1: Morning: Shanhaiguan Road for breakfast➡️Wuhan Art Museum (Hankou Museum)➡️Huangpi Road (Bagong House, former site of the central government)
Lunch: Dine at OAK12 Western Restaurant, located on Huangpi Road
Afternoon: Gude Temple➡️Hubei Provincial Museum➡️Yellow Crane Tower Wall➡️Yellow Crane Tower Night View➡️Ferry➡️Yangtze River Bridge➡️Gui Mountain TV Tower Night View➡️Yingwuzhou Yangtze River Bridge
Dinner: Jiangcheng Swallow Big Stall
Day2: Morning: Liangdao Street/Yanzhi Road for breakfast➡️Tan Hualin Graffiti➡️Ferry➡️Qingchuan Pavilion➡️Gui Mountain TV Tower➡️Qingdao Road
Lunch: Hot dry noodles available
Afternoon: Han River Guan Museum (night view available)
Evening: You can go to the Yellow Crane Tower to see the night view
⚠️: 1⃣️Bagong House is currently under renovation and not suitable for taking pictures
2⃣️You must take the ferry, I took it once during the day and once at night, the night view is too good, too fragrant, only need 1.3RMB, search for 'transportation ride code' on Alipay, you can swipe the card with the electronic transportation card, pay attention to the ferry schedule, if there are many people, you must queue up before boarding the ship, go to the second floor immediately after boarding to occupy the best position😏
3⃣️There are too many people watching the treasure of Hubei Provincial Museum, King Goujian of Yue, if possible, go early. Be careful not to use flash when taking pictures to protect the cultural relics
4⃣️You must go to Gude Temple, it's great, just too many people, you can see the night view of the TV tower from the Yangtze River Bridge Park
, There is not much to visit in Tan Hualin, the graffiti wall is at the subway entrance
5⃣️There is a bakery near Guanggu that has super delicious bread, Chacha Handmade Bread, highly recommended: Sausage Danish roll, Purple rice cheese rice bread, really delicious😋
6⃣️For accommodation, it is recommended to choose Jianghan Road Pedestrian Street or Huangpi Road
7⃣️You can take your time on Qingdao Road, there are many buildings from the colonial period, very close to Huangpi Road. Wuhan's transportation is not very convenient, some places are far from the subway entrance, and the bus also takes a long time to wait, taxis are not expensive, you can choose to take a taxi
About Wuhan's food, I personally don't like it very much, and the service attitude is super bad, a look of you love to eat or not, really is a nine-headed bird in the sky, a Hubei man on the ground, can't afford to provoke.
