#Zhongshan Park Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
May Day Travel Portal | Zhongshan Zhongshan Park
I finally made it to the other side of the Anywhere Door, the treasure city of Zhongshan in Guangdong!
Zhongshan travel, 20 minutes of happiness in the park, what I want to recommend and share is Zhongshan Park.
/
Zhongshan Park, located in Yandun Mountain in the city area, was built to commemorate Mr. Sun Yat-sen. There is a tower on the mountain, which is one of the ten scenic spots of Zhongshan, known as 'Fufeng Wenbi'.
/
The park is built according to the mountain and is a forest park.
The mountain where it is located is Yandun Mountain, which is also known as Fufeng or Shiqi Mountain.
/
The entire park is not large, and the mountain itself is quite small, but the trees are lush, making it a tranquil place in the city.
There are special mountain running tracks and hiking trails, making it very suitable for green fitness here.
/
In addition, the park also has table tennis courts, fitness plazas, and special children's play areas, making it a local spot for green leisure.
/
🚗Transportation Strategy:
The park is near Sun Wenxi Road Pedestrian Street. Enter through the pink museum alley, and you will find the Daming Temple entrance; you can simply walk there.
🌸 Spring Serenity at Zhongshan Park 🌳 🌼
Zhongshan Park in spring 🌸 is a symphony of vibrant colors and delicate fragrances. As you stroll along the pathways, you're greeted by a kaleidoscope of blooming flowers—tulips, cherry blossoms, and daffodils—painting the landscape with their beauty. The air is filled with the sweet scent of freshly blossomed flowers, uplifting the spirits of all who wander through.
Along the pathways, benches nestled beneath shady trees invite visitors to pause and immerse themselves in the tranquil surroundings. Families picnic on the lush green grass, children play joyfully, and couples enjoy romantic moments amidst nature's splendor.
It's a place where time seems to stand still, allowing people to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and reconnect with the simplicity and serenity of the natural world. Zhongshan Park in spring is not just a sight to behold but a sanctuary for the soul—a place where beauty and tranquility converge to create unforgettable memories. 🌺🌳🌼 #ZhongshanPark #SpringBeauty #NatureEscapes

Located in central Beijing, south of the Forbidden City and west of Tiananmen Square, Zhongshan Park holds a significant historical value as the former altar of the Ming and Qing dynasties. Originally established as a central park in 1914, it was later renamed Zhongshan Park after parking Sun Yat-sen's coffin. On a rainy day, Zhongshan Park seems like something out of a fairy tale
Qingdao is not just about the sea, but also the green forests.
You must visit Zhongshan Park on a rainy day to experience the romance of citywalk.
This heavy rain has added a unique filter to the forest.
Here, you can take deep breaths of oxygen and get up close with nature.
The tranquil environment is truly relaxing.🍃🕊️
Deep in the forest, there is a small cabin bookstore.
It feels like you're in a fairy tale world🏡 with a great atmosphere~
Zhongshan Park
Cross the overpass in front of the Dutch Flower Town and pass through Shennan Avenue, and you will see Zhongshan Park right across the street, adjacent to the Nantou Ancient City. Zhongshan Park is relatively large, with many citizens coming here for leisure. The park is well-greened, with bougainvillea in full bloom, as well as some peach blossoms and bauhinia. Walking and relaxing in the park is very comfortable.
Spring Festival morning Citywalk at West Lake offers an ultimate beautiful journey
This Spring Festival, why not take a trip to West Lake and experience a different kind of beautiful journey. Here is the best and most beautiful route I have summarized: set out around 7 am, and you will definitely linger and forget to return.
1. Broken Bridge: A must-visit iconic structure when you come to West Lake, offering a distant view of the beautiful West Lake scenery.
2. Ping Hu Qiu Yue: Watch the stunning scene of the sun rising overhead, with distant views of Leifeng Pagoda, Chenghuang Pavilion, and more.
3. Tea spot next to Costa Coffee: Adjust your phone settings to capture the moment of sunrise, and be sure to arrive early to avoid the crowd.
4. Bench near Zhongshan Park: Take backlit photos to capture the glittering figures in the sunlight.
5. Xiling Seal Art Society: Opens at 8:30 am, admire the surrounding scenery, and don't forget to check in at the entrance for a souvenir.
6. Solitary Hill Road's popular corner: The morning atmosphere is full of charm, offering you a different photography experience.
7. Xiling Bridge: Enjoy the view of the spire of Beigaofeng and the Baojiao Pagoda on the gem, and feel the mood of leisurely passing boats.
8. Su Causeway: Walk close by, feel the warm winter sun, and capture the beauty of 'a boat full of clear dreams pressing the starry river.'
9. Jingci Temple: Experience the tranquility of the temple, admire the South Screen Evening Bell and plum blossoms, and taste the delicious vegetarian roast goose and dried tofu.
This route is most suitable for the time between 7 am and 12 noon, and the mode of transportation is walking. This Spring Festival, take a West Lake Citywalk journey, and you will definitely create wonderful memories!

To enjoy spring flowers, Zhongshan Park is a must-visit
I've always wanted to come to Zhongshan Park for steamed buns, but never had the chance. Today, taking advantage of working overtime, I hurried over after work. The location and the environment inside are really nice, a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle. I had been planning to come to Zhongshan Park for steamed buns a few days ago, so I bought a 100 yuan annual park pass, only to find out the normal ticket price is three yuan... This park isn't as bustling as others, sitting by the small river surrounding the Forbidden City is quite comfortable. The park isn't very big, a leisurely stroll can take just half an hour, and currently, a few cherry trees have blossomed, attracting many people to take photos. Inside Zhongshan Park, there is also a mini-program for ancient tree tours, which I find quite interesting, and I think kids would really like it.
I swear this is really the Twilight Forest in Qingdao
Zhongshan Park's Little West Lake has a history of 101 years
In 1923, this was the first park with an artificial lake
Built a wooden curved bridge and a lake pavilion, and also planted lotus in the lake
🌲
A stream flows from Taiping Mountain into the Hundred Flowers Garden
Passing through a dense forest of water fir
The golden sunlight penetrates the dense forest at three or four in the afternoon
It's like accidentally entering the Twilight Forest in Qingdao
Breaking into the forest secret realm of light and shadow

Beijing Snow Scene | Zhongshan Park
Zhongshan Park in the snow is also super beautiful! The Ginkgo Avenue covered by snow has a unique taste, the water in the pavilion has not frozen yet, after the ice freezes and then snows a bit, the vast white is even more beautiful~
Even sparrows have become cute in winter, round and round.
Location: Zhongshan Park
Zhongshan Park, adjacent to the Forbidden City, is also a good place in Beijing to admire ginkgo trees
Zhongshan Park, separated from the Forbidden City by a wall, is also a good place in Beijing to admire ginkgo and take portraits.
In late autumn and early winter, the scenery in Beijing is particularly charming. No wonder Mr. Lao She once said: 'You must live in Beiping in autumn. I don't know what heaven is like, but judging from my life experience, the autumn in Beiping is heaven!'.
The day before yesterday, I went to the Forbidden City. The autumn scenery of the Forbidden City is of course unparalleled. Walking among the red walls and yellow tiles, admiring the grand palaces and the swaying golden ginkgo in the courtyards, I felt as if I had traveled through the Forbidden City.
But if it is difficult to make a reservation for the Forbidden City, then going to Zhongshan Park, which is separated from the Forbidden City by a wall, is also a good choice.
Some people say 'There are thousands of ginkgo avenues, and the most beautiful in the capital belongs to Zhongshan', but some Beijing friends told me: 'There are no ginkgo trees in Zhongshan Park', so whether there is a ginkgo avenue in Zhongshan Park, I decided to find out.
Hearing is false, seeing is believing. Yesterday after breakfast, I went straight to Zhongshan Park; in front of the Altar of Land and Grain in Zhongshan Park, I really got what I wished for. I saw the dazzling red walls and yellow leaves under the blue sky from a distance, and people taking pictures and checking in.
The autumn scenery here is too pleasing to the eye. The red walls and ginkgo trees complement each other, forming a beautiful picture.
Zhongshan Park ticket: full price 3 yuan, student 1.5 yuan, free for under 6 years old and over 60 years old.
Zhongshan Park is the ceiling of ginkgo in Beijing
Located in the center of Beijing, on the west side of Tiananmen Square, and separated from the Forbidden City by a wall, Zhongshan Park is a commemorative classical altar garden. The park is rich in ginkgo viewing resources and is an excellent viewing spot for ginkgo in the capital.
What is particularly worth mentioning are the two unique ginkgo landscapes in the park. The first is the Ginkgo Avenue located inside the South Altar Gate, where there are 18 ginkgo trees with an average age of about 50 years and a trunk diameter of 30 to 40 cm. Every year in mid-November, the golden ginkgo leaves illuminate the entire altar road, forming a stark contrast with the vermilion altar wall, making it even more profound and mysterious.
The other is the ginkgo forest located on the west side of the south gate, where the ginkgo forest planted along the corridor extends westward to the lotus pond. Every year in mid-November, the golden branches and leaves interweave into a dense leaf net, and when the leaves fall, the ground is golden, warm and romantic.
The abnormal phenomenon of ginkgo in Beijing this year makes the autumn tour more attractive. Walking into Zhongshan Park, you can not only appreciate the perfect fusion of ancient palace architecture and ginkgo, but also take beautiful photos as a souvenir. Whether it's the dazzling golden Ginkgo Avenue or the picturesque autumn colors of the long corridor, it will add rich colors to your autumn journey.
This gate, it really is the ceiling of the Beijing red wall and ginkgo community
The archway of Zhongshan Park, paired with red walls and ginkgo, is truly stunning‼️ No matter how you take pictures, it looks incredibly good📸
📍Zhongshan Park: You need to make a reservation one day in advance in the 【Enjoy the Park】
🎫Ticket: 3 yuan/person, really worth it, children and the elderly are free🆓
This weekend is probably the end of Beijing's ginkgo viewing season, hurry up and catch the last wave🤪
In another month in Shanghai, these 10 places will be the ceiling
In another month, these 10 places in Shanghai will usher in an autumn feast, each falling leaf seems to be telling the story of autumn. Walking in these places is like stepping into a beautiful painting. Qiuxiapu is an excellent place to enjoy maple leaves in Shanghai. The garden is full of maple leaves, which are colorful under the autumn sun, as if you are in an autumn oil painting. And in Jumen Road, the golden ginkgo leaves attract countless tourists every year. This place can be said to be the top spot for enjoying ginkgo in Shanghai. Yueyang Road is a beautiful avenue of fallen leaves. The fallen leaves here and the historical buildings complement each other, making people feel like they are in a romantic old movie. Zhongshan Park is a place with few people and beautiful scenery. The autumn leaves there are all large pieces of romantic yellow leaves, and you can also visit the nearby Yuyuan Road. Hengfu Historical and Cultural District is a street full of historical sense. The plane trees and western-style houses there make people feel like they have traveled back to that beautiful era. In addition to this, there are many beautiful parks and streets, such as Huilongtan, Golden City Road, Huazheng Walkway, Guilin Park and Ancient Tree Park, etc., which are all worth visiting for autumn appreciation. These places are not only beautiful, but also have relatively small crowds, so you can better enjoy the tranquility and beauty of autumn. So, don't miss these places, come on an autumn leaf viewing trip!
The Forbidden City is too crowded, go to the neighboring Zhongshan Park
Autumn has recently arrived in Beijing, so it's become very difficult to book the Forbidden City. At this time, it's actually a pretty good choice to go to Zhongshan Park during off-peak hours!
🌴A special reminder, some buildings in Zhongshan Park are currently under renovation, and the leaves have not completely turned yellow. I think it's nice to take a walk there, otherwise the experience of the crowded Forbidden City is not very good.
Of course, if you are a photography enthusiast, you must take some pictures, then choose the Forbidden City, it's worth it even if it's crowded!
Zhongshan Park is not very large, the classic photo spot is the gate of the altar, many people line up there to take pictures.
⏰It is recommended to go around three or four o'clock, there will be the yellow light of the setting sun in the evening, a very gentle color.
